Fresh produce quality was very disappointing. The peppers had a strong rotten smell and the onions were already spoiled. Deliveroo refunded the items immediately after reviewing the photos, which says a lot. Morrisons needs to improve quality checks when selecting fresh produce for online orders.
Really I should give it 3.5 stars, but you can't so it gets three.nI have been using the shop since it was Safeways and lived on Seven sisters next to Axminster road. That was back in the late seventies, it was chaotic, stunningly busy and impossible to park.nMorrison's was bought out in 2021 by the US private equity company Clayton, Dubilier & Rice CD&R. And maybe things have improved a little recently, they could not have got much worse, the car park is dirty and very dingy, I won't go into details, but you know what I mean, a steady stream of winos panhandlers. At least they have got them away from the trolley entrance area. The public lavatories are a thing of the past, that was initially a part of the development deal with the council.nThe shop inside is reasonably well stocked and pretty big, on produce it is not bad, fruit and veg get a good from me, as does Gluten free and free from, although still rather pricey.nThe staff I like, I should do as I know practically all of them by sight and some lovely ladies, and the guys too, not lovely, but you know what I mean.nI just wanted to add that you can get a mini cab from the roof of the carpark they don't fly, yet. via the big lift in the lobby, the Guys are very nice and friendly, they always help me carry my stuff to my door and prices are ver reasonable, I have ued them for years, not every week but sometimes I nedd help, I am getting on.nMorrison's Nags Head, If you want sophistication, walk down to Waitrose, you'll want a fat cheque book though.I will stick with Morrison's for my weekly big shop, but never say never.nI did a self-portrait, so the ladies will know it was me what done it, actually a selfie I spruced up in photoshop, and yes I took the wrinkles out, nothig wrong with putting your best face on, even if it isn't real.
If I could give zero stars I would . Has to be the worst Morrisons ever . Customer service is awful . Made order online uber at 5 pm and arrived 2 and half hours later . Didn’t bother to pack order after 2 hours - small shop 8 items . Simple snacks which would have arrived less than hour but time kept changing because didn’t bother to pack until 7;10 . Items then arrived damaged . Called and hung up on . Fridges never work and food is gone off . Food left in broken fridges. Need to do proper stock checks as food is out of date specially Halal items I seen one from April which is ridculous since were in July . They ignore emails and calls . Worst store ever . Workers don’t even like working there always in a mood . Tall black Woman in customer service is extremely rude and arogant . Only nice worker is Yemi and the one Indian woman lovely and helpful .
Standard - good Morrisons. You can enter through the underground parking area as a pedestrian and I chose to do this.nnI bought some special edition Halloween pringles which were a nice change as well as a birthday card for a friend.nnI appreciated the range of items available close to the till. I would characterise this as being similar to the 'middle of Lidl' although this may not be appreciated by Morrisons due to the proximity of this store to the Lidl which is in the same shopping centre.
I usually enjoy going to Morrisons, especially early in the morning when it’s nice and quiet. However, my last visit was really disappointing due to poor customer service. I asked for assistance at the till, but one of the employees seemed more interested in gossiping with a colleague than helping me. I had to keep calling her over instead of receiving proper assistance i hope it improves
