Waitrose & Partners on Porchester Road is such a reliable and welcoming part of our local community. The store is always clean, well organised, and stocked with high-quality products. The fresh produce is consistently excellent, and there’s a great range to suit families, special occasions, and everyday shopping.nnWhat really stands out, though, is their support for the local community. They generously supported our primary school’s Ramadan bake sale, and their contribution helped us raise money for charity. It means so much when established businesses take the time to give back and support local schools and families.nnThe staff are always polite, helpful, and professional, which makes every visit a pleasant experience. A truly wonderful place with almost everything available, and the best thing is the fresh grilled chicken at a very reasonable price. A fantastic place!
This is my local store and my go-to supermarket, with loads of options and consistently high-quality products at good prices. The shop is always clean, well laid out, and modern, making it a really pleasant place to shop. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are genuinely friendly. Many times, I’ve experienced instances where the team has gone above and beyond to help, and I always feel like I receive outstanding customer service. I highly recommend this supermarket.
I had a great shopping experience at Waitrose today. The store was spotless, well organised, and very pleasant to shop in. Everything was easy to find, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and welcoming. A special mention to the cashier staff as they were genuinely friendly, professional, and attentive, which made the experience even better. Excellent customer service and a consistently high standard. I’ll happily be back
PROS: really nice range of free from and overall snacks - honestly have the best free from gluten free dairy free etc range at this store. Also love their range of crisps so tend to pop in for these things.nnCONS: the security and team tend to be discriminatory towards me assumingly because of my race - sometimes the security guy will get a staff member to “subtly” follow you around which can make you feel uncomfortable and like you are not welcome or as if they have assumed that you are a bad person. They really need to do better on that as racism is such a horrible way to treat a regular and non-disturbing customer.
