Free parking and a great selection of items. Queues nearly non existent. Prices where prices accordingly and everything was if high quality. Only complaint is that only 1 lift to the car park is functional and it is a bit smelly.
The Sushi Gourmet stand at the end of the first vegetable aisle is a hidden gem. The sushi is made on the spot and there is always a variety of choices to choose from daily. Vegetarian options are available. Prices are rather expensive but it is really taste for money!
Sainsbury’s, 836 High Road, London N12 9REnnI came in looking for ground turmeric powder and was helped by Neesha, who immediately paused her conversation with the lady in the black top to guide me straight to Row 11. Her attentiveness and professionalism make her a real credit to the store.nnMichelle also deserves special mention I almost have forgotten during her day off, my apologies. Her ability to remember exactly where every item is in such a large store is truly impressive as always.nnI later learned that the lady in the black top was the store manager and she clearly sets the tone for this positive, helpful and efficient team.nnThis visit made me realise: it’s only through working with such care and attention to detail that we can truly drive our country forward. Dedication at every level builds pride: pride in our work, pride in our community and pride in being British in Great Britain, upholding the old-school way of British etiquette that makes our nation worth standing tall for.
Good branch of Sainsbury's but as a disabled person to park in the car park, go upstairs in the store to register my vehicle at the cigarette counter and then to wait if there is a long queue is too much because I have mobility issues. Shame as the staff are helpful and there is a little Argos at the back.
This has gone from being one of the best stores to one of the worst. Or they are all just getting worse. The bakery section here used to be fantastic, but is no more. Watched in shock today as a member of staff behind the bakery counter berated an elderly woman, who just wanted her loaf of bread sliced. Her obvious contempt for the customer was only matched by her obvious hatred of senior management. Apparently now customers are supposed to just know how to use industrial bread slicing machinery without assistance. Probably only a matter of time before a nasty accident happens there and the Health and Safety Executive are called in...
