Staff are nice and seem to have been there for years so its good to see they keep people around as most supermarkets have high staff turnover who don't know where anything is as they haven't worked there long. The new store layout seems to add more room for product range. Its not a superstore but it has the broadest selection in the stroud green finsbury park area. I like that they work with some small brands for black history month and that they have a decent size whole foods and baking ingredients section. I like that they now stock high welfare chicken, I wish they had a little more and across more meat types such as lamb.
Good store local to me. Sometimes items that are in stock online are not actually there. Would also like to see some more vegan options for my daughter. Other than that it does the job
Not the best shop in the world, but not the worst either. All those moaning about it be more expensive than their corner shop are deluded. If that's the case, get you bits at the corner shop and stop complaining. Also I have been in the ques and witnessed customers being rude to the staff, however are unhappy with the staffs attitudes perhaps you have one yourselves and they complain about the most petty nonsense and expect staff members to stand there and listen. Save your bull shhh for the pigeons outside.
It's not a superstore it's classed as a Tesco Metro which means the prices are high because its inner London. The shop floor staff hate you, always surly and rude. It's a huge issue for them if you ask for help finding an item.nPoor selection of food, very little choice unless you want to be Tesco own brands at stupidly high prices.nThankfully Lidal and Aldi have arrived, better quality and prices
Store is well stocked and whenever I visit, is not particularly busy, which means I can do my shopping relatively quickly. There is a wide selection of fresh fruit and vegetables along with a good range of frozen item options. Bakery section located towards rear of the store. Has most products that a larger Tesco would have apart from no clothing.nnVery rarely do I have to wait at the self-service check out and the customers who choose the manned tills, generally have a choice of cashiers to attend to them. Staff appear friendly and helpful when you need assistance. No parking facilities, so for me, it restricts how much I can buy at any one time but this store is very handy, should I be in the locality.
