Excellent service. I want to thank Safina at Service Counter for letting me use her charger when my phone battery died - enabling me to complete my purchase. Also the young man at the tills.nI do however have a problem with the inventory management at the store. They don't seem to stock adequate levels of items some that I get vouchers that I can't use
Today I received a wonderful surprise from one of the Partners - a lovely lady whom I forgot to ask her name but next time I pop in I'll be sure to ask and update this review with it because she went above and beyond her role and deserves recognition and a reward.nnReason being, my husband and I decided to try out the Scan Pay Go feature - we get to the checkout and the app says we were randomly selected for a rescan. Fine by me! The lady popped over with the machine to rescan but the machine was playing up - not connecting and making her life difficult. Not her fault at all, the supermarket is located in an odd place where even phone signal is tricky to grasp inside. I told her it's absolutely fine, we can rescan manually again on the till, there was no problem. As a thank you she handed me this gorgeous bouquet of flowers at the end. I was stunned! Wasn't expecting this in the slightest.nnThe staff here are lovely in general, but she went above and beyond and I'm gutted I didn't ask for her name at the time. I was stunned, like I said, but I'll be sure to ask for her next time I'm in.nnI've been having a rough week and these flowers were a pure surprise. They smell glorious. Really wanted to give her a hug but wasn't sure if that's appropriate! Either way, a massive thank you to her and Waitrose, please reward her! nnEdit: the lady's name is Donna
I’ve shopped here for years and have noticed a steady decline in their customer service, rude, and unhelpful. Final straw came today when I asked if something may be restocked and I was basically told off for nagging. I was simply asking. Well, end of my shopping there that’s for sure. Shame, as their goods are good. Rethink your staffing and training, other shops do it far better.
Their Amazon counter service is awful!nI ordered 2 parcels in 2 different days and both time it took almost half an hour waiting to get my parcels.nnRidiculous!nnIf you can't afford to provide a good service just avoid!nnNever again!
Huge and comfortable parking. You can charge Your electric car here, while You will make shopping. If You need to buy the present for someone, it is a perfect place. Flowers, plants for the garden, a bottle of wine. It is a real superstore, with everything You can image to buy. Very tasty bakery and Your perfect cup of “Waitrose tea or coffee”.
