Used to really like this store, had a great variety of foods, Middle of the aisle and friendly staff however the downsides for me currently are the complex disjointed layout, till system, no more Middle of the Aisle and no opportunity to reclaim app points from your receipt after purchase. I get the area may warrant strategic ways to prevent theft but blocking everywhere with a displaced layout of items makes it difficult to shop, taking away the offers most shoppers came there for loses consumer interest, you'll go elsewhere to get it. Simples.
Sorry, the redesign is terrible!!!. What happened to your Home and DIY products? I keep coming in, searching for them while using my walking stick, but they’re nowhere to be found. The store feels so cramped now, making it difficult to move around without bumping into people. I struggle to find what I need and end up walking back and forth, in a wild goose chase. Because of this, I have not even been this month. You’re losing customers-please consider returning to the previous layout. It's driving us crazy trying to find things!!!.
Went in there today , the layout is absolutely awful. Two people can’t comfortably pass each other down an aisle because it is so squashed. The trolleys won’t allow you to go to the Upstairs car park to your car which means you have to carry all your bags. I asked the security guard if he could take the break off as I have a chronic debilitating illness and it would be a stuggle for me to carry the bags, I would then bring the trolly back. He just shrugged and said “yeah I’m not doing that, it’s too much hassle”
I love Lidl and the products but this is by far the worst store I have encountered in my many years of being a Lidl customer in different locations. The recently changed layout of the store is cramped and chaotic, and I often walk out feeling overwhelmed. The service people at the self serve counters literally yell at people to keep moving and overall it is giving ‘everyone fend for themselves before the apocalypse’ vibes.
