Unacceptable service, terrible management, and zero accessibility.nnAbsolutely dreadful customer service at this Holloway Road branch. I was here during the midday rush with a full trolley worth £200. Every single traditional conveyor-belt till was completely closed. Only the self-checkouts were open, with an endless queue of over 20 people.When I politely asked a member of staff to open a standard till because my shopping was too heavy and bulky for the self-service machines, they completely refused and showed total indifference. This is London, not a small village—customers have no time to waste due to your poor staff management during peak hours. You should be grateful that people choose to spend £200 at your store.Because of their stubborn refusal to assist me, I had to leave my heavy trolley right there and walk out. I couldn’t even use my active Lidl Plus app vouchers. I went straight to Morrisons instead, where they had 5 standard tills open and excellent service.Furthermore, this store completely lacks basic accessibility. My mother is elderly, and I saw many disabled shoppers today who simply cannot use self-checkouts. Forcing everyone onto those machines is a form of discrimination against vulnerable customers. The store manager clearly does not know how to run a supermarket. Avoid this place if you have a big shop or mobility issues.
I want to thank the staff at Lidl Holloway for their honesty and kindness this morning. I accidentally dropped my wallet at the entrance when I came in to shop. When I reached the till and realised it was gone, I panicked but the staff immediately reassured me that the security guard had found it and handed it in. Everything was intact, and their calm, helpful attitude made a huge difference. It’s great to see such integrity and customer care. Thank you again to the whole team.
Overall good place. Fair prices, high varity of products - both fresh and ready to eat.nLong lines, and unfortunately not orgnized enough, was hard to understand prices of some peoducts.
Lidl is perfect for me as it has wide, well lit aisles.This means easy access and I can get about easily.It's themed weekly promotions such as Greek/Spanish/French week mean I can buy the country's most popular foods/produce often for bargain prices and try new meals/produce.I have saved well over £15 by using the Lidl plus app as well.

You can see they work hard to keep the store running smoothly — restocking shelves, assisting at the checkouts, and helping customers with questions. It’s always appreciated.nnYes, the store can get crowded, and self-checkouts can occasionally have issues, but these are minor drawbacks in an otherwise well-run and useful local supermarket.
