I moved to this hotel as this was closer to my workplace. First day when I moved from Glasgow hotels I regretted it, quite mid-low standard, carpet fix by seletape, heter in bath not working, water dripping to the the toilet all night. sorry wasn't dripping, was running like one liter per minute or more my colic who also srop in this hotel have same issue with unpleasant waterfall night sound effect I guest water is for free in Scotland, but is not enviroment friendly. I feel here lile I am back to '90s. Now is 11pm in 5 hours I need to wake up, but can't sleep as I am in middle of someones else conversation, even I didn't want to. Wall are so thin that I hear every single word from next door room. Shouldn't be that bad, I never been in hotel where is that low sound proof from next door, but I visit many different hotels.
It was my first wee night at Fat Club. Onwards and upwards . Yes, here I go toilets fantastic clean and fresh . Thank you to all staff . Christmas decorations look amazing . Great job, too, all
This hotel saved our life for two nights after essentially being kicked out of another b&b due to the host being irritable about not being clear with our room not being an ensuite. The staff here were delightful and did not smell of alcohol thankfully, also alerted us to potential noise that was coming from events over the weekend.nnAlthough the room itself was a bit tired, it had a functioning lock, a bathroom... with a bath! And a nice sized bed to rest our weery souls in at the end of the day. Would I recommend this place? Yes, yes I would.
Good hotel, nice rooms too. Had a quick stay from Birmingham with family. Had a family room and a triple room, both decent rooms. Rooms and attached toilets were very clean and stocked properly with tissues, soaps, shampoos, and bodywash.nnThe only things that I thought could be improved were the lighting could have been brighte, and there was slight suffocation before opening the windows. However, after the windows were open, it did get better. We had requested a baby cot for our 8 month old, and we were given a very deep crib. There was a foam mat but no mattress, so we didn't really use it as it would have just been a hassle and too hard for the baby. Also, I'm not sure if it just isn't hotel culture, but in my opinion, there should have been water bottles available in the rooms.nnBesides that the experience was good, sheets were clean, stay was good.
