Exceptional in all ways possible.nnWe had the warmest welcome from the reception desk and were even more impressed by the room. Stunning decor, quality furnishings and so peaceful!nnThe restaurant staff went out of their way to provide a wonderful birthday dinner. Complimentary treats provided since it was a special occasion; a lovely touch! The food was out of this world; a nicer steak hasn’t been had in a long time.nnThe cocktail bar was a great space to wind down at night with many fantastic cocktails to choose from; our favourite being ‘Jack Jung’, highly recommended!nnIf you’re looking for a few nights away and want to treat yourself, The Dakota is the perfect option. It’s swanky and luxurious but not at all pretentious like some of these types of places can be.
Stayed and dined on our anniversary yesterday evening. Great service, lovely reception staff, upgraded our room suite was lovely, restaurant presented a personally signed congrats card and free champagne on arrival and food/service was excellent. Overall, a great night and can't fault it. Possibly the best hotel in Glasgow certainly for the price.
Excellent service and stunning hotel. Probably the best hotel I've stayed in the UK.nnStaff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was a very generous size and the bed was absolutely comfy.nnLoved the interior design. Shower facilities were also excellent, powerful shower and heated mirror. Nice touch.nnWould highly recommend this hotel when staying in Glasgow
Well-appointed four-star hotel with helpful staff, in a very handy central location. In May 2024 when we stayed it had a very large building site next door, but the windows didn't let too much noise through. Breakfast is excellent.
The hotel was amazing! Breakfast was delicious - service was a little slow. The stand out had to be Lauren at reception absolute complement to the company she went over and above to ensure I was happy, comfortable and enjoyed my first solo trip!! I also want to call out Matthew at the bar who made all our cocktail to perfection and really knows his stuff...I was taken on an amazing alcoholic journey! Thank you both for really making my stay special
