Had a great stay here for my first visit to Glasgow! The rooms were fab, the staff were friendly especially Sophia at breakfast and I loved the personal touch of free local teacakes! Such a nice touch. The 2am pizzas were also delicious! Also the free pool table was great for entertaining! Location also great just a 10 minute walk to the city centre!nnThanks guys-Claire
The hotel is in a great location in central. 10 min walk from the train station. Rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfast is quite complete including hot and cold food and beverages. The bar downstairs is open till late if you want to grab a beer after a long day of exploring.
The hotel is simple, and so is the room, but that’s what we had booked. The receptionists were not very friendly, which slightly affected our welcome. The breakfast was good, no complaints there. We still had a good night’s sleep.nnHowever, there was one small issue: the shower door in our room was poorly designed, as it bumps into the wall, which is not ideal. Apart from this small problem, the stay was normal. The price is a bit high compared to what the hotel offers, but the plus is the Q Park parking right in front of the hotel.nnElsa & Alexandre
Absolutely amazing service from all the Team at the Ibis, from a warm and welcoming check in through to the evening service.nA lovely relaxed atmosphere downstairs with a pool table to pass some time whilst having a catch up with friends and colleagues. Will definitely be back and highly recommended others to stay here if visiting Glasgow.
The previous two stays had been pleasant enough but the breakfasts had been very disappointing with tough bacon and massively different cooked states of the sausages.nThis time was completely different, the breakfast was excellent on both mornings and this, along with the usual excellent standards of cleanliness and comfort, led to one of the most enjoyable stays we've had.
