We had a fabulous time staying at the Marriott. Obviously the location, rooms and price are amazing, but what made it really special was the service. Shout out to the front of house staff, there were a few lovely members but one in particular that made our stay particularly special. Duncan was super friendly and welcoming from the first moment we walked through the revolving doors, he dealt with our requests and a small complaint that we had professionally and went above and beyond. He has lovely customer service and is a credit to the team at Marriott. Thank you
Love staying here. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is just perfect, so clean and comfortable. The rooms are spacious with the most comfortable beds. Great view of Glasgow from the room. Delicious breakfast to top it off. Also you can bring you furry friends if you want.
Excellent location for the SEC, Armadillo and the Hydro could see all 3 from my room! Also walking distance to the Exhibition Centre train station to go into Glasgow. Modern and clean rooms, great for a few nights stay. Was disappointed that none of the staff at breakfast seemed to be allergen aware, also took 3 days for the breakfast I booked to appear on the daily list.
15 min walk from the train station, in a commercial area. No break-taking view, just traffic, bridge and industrial look.n10 min walk to the full size grocery store Lidl.nThe hotel was clean and updated. However, the mobile key did not work.nBreakfast was average. I probably will come back if the price is reasonable.
Superior King with river view - perfect, loved it. A cut above where have previously stayed in vicinity. Breakfasts were amazing, so much choice and very efficient service and staff. Lovely bar with great cocktail options and other seating areas to chill out and relax in. Bathroom with walk in shower good size, plenty of room. It was so warm during our stay but we had air-con and you could open the window so that was a bonus. Hotel staff all efficiently, helpful and friendly.
