Relaxing stayed at Clayton hotel.nI just checked out today and i want to say thank you for a good service.nmy my reviews as follows.nnAt the reception upon arrivalnnthe staff are too friendly with warmed welcome smile.nthey took us to the lifts, gave us lots of info, was so friendly and welcoming and professional.nnThe roomnwas clean , spacious and had a great view of the river from the 12th floor.ni enjoyed the caramel bar and hot drinks section.nnegative - no fridge in the roomnnThe bathroomnit was clean and organized. with enough amount of shampoo, body wash and handwash soap.nnegative - water goes little out from the floor while bathing.nnThe breakfastnthe breakfast area is clean and cosy.nwith a delicious hot and cold variety of food which i loved it.nnThe restaurantnn3 course menu is great.naffordable and worth for the price.ni enjoyed our dinner last night. thanks for the chef for very palatable and mouth watering dessert.nnoverall experiencenexcellent stayed with 2 yes from us to recommend this hotel.
Great location with easy access to the centre of Glasgow. We were attending an event at the OVO Hydro, which is only a 30-minute walk away. It was great not having to queue for taxis or buses afterwards. We were very lucky with the weather, which made the walk even more enjoyable. All the staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to assist us.
Great stay, really efficient booking, check in and out. Lovely room, super comfortable, wonderfully quiet and nice river view. Breakfast options were extensive and hot options cooked to perfection. Would definitely stay again.
Found a great deal for here on booking.com for a Deluxe King Room so thought I’d splurge. It was worth it.nnThe service was great from the moment we arrived. Nice and simple check in process with kind staff.nnThe pictures are from room 1202 which has great views looking North of Glasgow. Quite breathtaking especially in the morning sun.nnBed was comfy but had a terrible nights sleep because that’s how I roll. But really nice and spacious room. Some random furniture placement but great. Tea and coffee in the room as well.nnHad a drink at the bar and wasn’t too pricey. Great location if you wanna be in the city but not “in” it if that makes sense. Worth it!nnOne small edit. The amount of emails and texts you get before your stay is ridiculous. Whoever complained that they didn’t get contacted enough has ruined it for everyone else. I felt like I was electronically stalked for four months. Maybe calm down on all that!
Stayed at Clayton Hotel, Glasgow for 2 nights with family. 23rd to 25th March. Very warm welcome and excellent service from all staff throughout our stay. Service with a smile! Our rooms were immaculate, spacious and comfortable. The food very tasty in restaurant and bar. Prices were reasonable. Location central so great for events at Ovo Hydro, shopping and transport. Lovely views across the Clyde from higher floors, and interesting riverside walk opposite hotel. Would highly recommend this excellent hotel.
