Had a great stay at Broadcroft for my daughter's wedding, which was held nearby.nThe food and staff were excellent.nThe only negative was there were 4 flights of stairs to go up to the roomsno lift.nI had a bad hip, so it was a bit of an ordeal and would be the same for anyone with mobility issues.nIt didn't deter my stay as we were celebrating a joyful event. Thanks for everything.
Modern budget hotel. Room was fairly small, but modern and comfortable bed.nGood size walk in shower.nBreakfast was good and staff were pretty friendly and accommodating.nDon't be expecting luxury, but as a place to sleep after a big day or night it's very nice, especially for the price.nnFree parking was handy too.
The food is excellent and on my third night here I had the right kind of service. Caitlin was professional and friendly taking time with all her customers. She checked on me to see if all was ok and even came back at an appropriate time to offer me dessert. Whilst I believe she is quite young I would hope that you would build on this young ladies obvious natural way with customers and service with an opportunity to progress in your business if she so wished
As a local who grew up in the area for 30+ years before moving further afield, it was great to see the name - The Broadcroft Hotel return after years of being Smiths. Smiths had become tired and uninspiring, so it was great that the new Broadcroft Hotel had a major facelift. I can only comment on the restaurant and function suites, and they have all been radically overhauled to what Smiths offered and the food menu and service is quite excellent. I have been several times with family and friends and would not hesitate to return, and would recommend other visit it as its one of the best places to eat and drink in Kirkintilloch.
Had the best stay at this hotel,it's was clean staff were lovely and very helpful. Only thing that was a downfall for us that there was no lift as was travelling with a baby but once all stuff was in room it wasn't really an issue!nnAs I said all staff were amazing but there was one member of staff there called Rebecca, she was fantastic and amazing with our baby girl, she looked after us very well during breakfast and lunch times.
