I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and overall had a decent experience for the price. Check-in was smooth and straightforward, and the staff throughout my stay were friendly and helpful. I also appreciated that they agreed to a late check-out when I requested it.nnThere were some issues, though. We were informed that the air-conditioning was out of service and that a fan or heater would be provided if needed. However, there was no heater in the room when we arrived, and the room was super cold until one was brought up. I ended up having to call reception around midnight to request a heater, though they did deliver it promptly once I asked.nnThe room itself was comfortable enough once warmed up, and breakfast was okay—nothing special, but acceptable for the price.nnOverall, it’s a reasonable place to stay if you’re looking for something simple and affordable, though ensuring rooms are properly equipped ahead of time would make the stay much more comfortable.
The hotel is nicely situated away from the main road. Room was clean and bed comfy. There was a lot of noise from other guests as early as 5.30am but no fault of the hotel... My only suggestion would be to lower the prices of your restaurant food. My husband and l had a lasagne which cost £16 eachn. It was the same size as a ready meal in sains that costs £3. Plus the food wasn't hot in the middle. The restaurant was empty apart from one other table but they were just drinking
Stayed 3 nights at Holiday Inn Express Wandsworth near Wandsworth Town station—great location for quick trains to London Waterloo, perfect for our family trip 2 adults + 2 kids. Check-in was smooth; staff recognised our IHG membership and offered late checkout, which was a nice touch.nnFamily room was comfy overall with good space, but the sofa bed was too soft, A/C wasn't working movable heater provided, though we didn't need it, and shower drain was very slow—reported after night 1, but nothing fixed due to full occupancy and staff seeming unaware on later shifts.nAfter housekeeping on day 2, we only got 2 towel sets instead of 4; had to go to reception since the QR code contact was complicated. Breakfast was standard and okay but very busy, as warned.nnParking was reasonable via YourParkingSpace, booked ahead for the spot, luckily we got the last one, don’t know what to do if it’s full. Good value for money if you overlook the glitches. Would return for location alone.
Most all of the staff at this hotel were AMAZING. There was one lady that worked evenings that was not very friendly and refused extra pillows but everyone else from front desk to kitchen staff were so wonderful. Seriously did everything possible for us.nThe room was super clean and the breakfast was excellent. It was a little far from the tourist areas but we managed with the tube and trains.
Prem and Farad were great helping us with some documents. The whole hotel was also lovely. Great checking in process and comfortable room. Very close to train station and TLS visa.
