The hotel has a nice location and comfortable rooms, but the cleaning service is either deeply flawed or being deliberately cut back. I don’t mind having to request housekeeping at reception every morning and putting the notice on my door, but despite doing this daily, I am now on the fourth day of a 12-night business stay without a single room cleaning. Each evening when I return, I’m told the cleaning staff have already left for the day, which is very frustrating and unacceptable for a long stay. Unfortunately cleanliness is a non negotiable for me in a hotel.nEdit: Since my original review the hotel has rectified the situation and as such I adjusted my review.
Wow! This is such a handy place to stay and typical Premier Inn standards. We stayed on Broadway and I was worried that, with our room facing Broadway, that we'd hear the noise from the street...but nothing. Super soundproofed, super comfy beds, clean bathroom...loads of teas and coffees and a great deal on with Block and Burger beneath.... Breakfast was a fill your boots affair...and with veggie options too. The staff were super helpful when our remote control to the tv didn't work, and found us one that did. Loved it and can't wait to go back.
A great premierrr inn, a stable hotel with high cleanliness and attentive staff.nnThe location is great, 10 minute walk from the train station, close the supermarkets Sainsbury’s across the road. There is a gym opposite the road The Gym. Very close to many bars, and restaurants with a theatre just two minute walk away.nnAttached is a steakhouse, brilliant menu and great food. Price is very reasonable for the quality of the food you receive.
My room was clean and the bed comfortable. The shower was ace and there is no bath which works for me. Miles better than the rooms in St. George's Hospital.
