Heathrow being Heathrow, you should expect consistently high congestion and substantial transit distances regardless of the time of day. The signage for the Heathrow Express remains frequently ambiguous, leading many tourists and locals alike into a navigational maze.nn​However, the process has become significantly more efficient with the integration of contactless payment. You no longer need to navigate the ticket machines; simply tapping your credit card or mobile wallet at the barriers allows for a seamless boarding experience. If you can manage the long trek through the terminal and the confusing signs, the train itself remains the most reliable way into London.
It's a long walking from station to terminal.nnCompared to Piccadilly line fare is very high.nnTrains are good and fast, less stations than Piccadilly line.nnBut at Heathrow station don’t understand the reason of non working escalators. Lift is very crowded.nnOnly advantage it reaches fast from central London.
It’s been many years since I went through T2. I’ve avoided it like the plague. But it’s massively improved since my last visit more than 19 years ago. Spacious, airy, easy to navigate, good eating options.
It's a very hassle-free and passenger-friendly airport. The wifi connects better than my home network. The navigation throughout the airport is like a breeze. Plenty of stores to buy. Plenty of Indians working in the airport.
Excellent airport. Biggest I've ever been.nThe signs are clear, if not, there´s personal always willing to help kindly.nNice place to eat, and shop. The transport inside airport is very good, even when you have to take train or buses to reach your terminal.nChargers near to seats, time estimated to gates on screen.nBest airport I've been ever.
