Fantastic customer service. Rang to say due to the storm would be 9hrs later checking in. No issue whatsoever. Parking was a doddle and check-in easy. Even had my warm chocolate chip cookie. Spacious room and absolutely spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed and bedding and beautiful bathroom. My view although at the rear of the building, I could just see part of the London Eye in the distance. The room was so quiet considering there was a road and train line behind it and also under the flight path. The bar/lounge was gorgeous and the breakfast had an abundance of choice. Would highly recommend staying here and all the staff were wonderful.
Had a very pleasant stay, having travelled to London for an event at the O2. The external areas at the hotel were clean and well presented. Refreshing to find the car park was spacious and secure. The lobby / check in and out service was excellent with someone always on hand to assist / offer assistance. Enjoyed a few drinks in the bar which has a calm and relaxing feel. The breakfast was excellent! A very good variety and seemingly very fresh full English, as well as plenty of other options. The bed was comfy and the room was very clean - it was a little cold upon arrival back from the O2 but warmed up quite quickly when I put the heating on.
Lovely hotel, lovely staff. Comfortable room and very comfy bed. Not far to walk to Greenwich Park about 15 mins. Nice breakfast let them know if you want vegetarian or vegan sausages etc. The bar is very Nice and plush and I had a nice pizza in there with a nice glass of red wine. They also looked after my suitcase after check out whilst I went out for the afternoon. I would definitely stay here again.
One of the worst hotel in town, pathetic customer services, African guy who calls himself the assistant manager needs to learn some customer service skills, don’t expect any smile or good gestures from him. Reception staff literally needs proper training and must learn how to behave with customers. Rooms were noisy, can easily hear if someone is watching a TV next door, washrooms have a see through sliding glass door, water keeps coming out of the shower area due to bad bathroom design, Housekeeping and maintenance will be knocking your door even if you have your do not disturb mode turned on, you can’t really have a peaceful stay in this hotel. Really not worth the cost, can easily get better rooms in nearby hotels with nice and friendly staff. Won’t be having a stay ever again.
I really enjoyed my stay. The room was clean, modern, cosy and the bathroom felt brand new. I had a view of the London skyline too! The breakfast was exceptional: fresh and tasty food. I am attaching a random photo: I didn’t eat my dinner there but I had a sticky toffee pudding to finish the night and it was absolutely beautiful!Rooms: 5/5
I went with my 9 year old son for afternoon tea on Sunday. The service was amazing . Two very friendly stuff members very polite and helpful i think one of them was Fernandez sorry I can't remember The tea was delicious , scones very fresh very tasty and cozy atmosphere. I would highly recommend *****Service: 5/5
Luxe stay 5 min walk from Deptford Bridge DLR station. Nice room, hard matras bed and noisy atmosphere caused by AC, thin walls and slamming doors. Woke up 6.30 with neighbour's phone alarm. But breakfast is extremely good, and nice bar. Rooms: Big for london, but noisy Nearby activities: 2 stops dlr to tourist information, cutty stark, and shopping area Safety: Dark but busy neighborhoods Walkability: 5 min to DLR with ticketmachine. Order Oystercard by mail to get best price for travel. Food & drinks: Breakfast outstanding. Restaurant closed on Sunday
Gorgeous hotel. Was expecting nice but it is stunning. Not a fan of closest public transport however. Felt unsafe after dark walking back. Handy for the dlr and wee supermarkets. Seriously stunning inside, bar is gorgeous. Lovely breakfast. Room is clean, modern and spacious. Shower room is big, bright and clean. Good range of toiletries, lovely fluffy towels. Food & drinks: Amazing breakfast
This is an honest review. My daughter booked the hotel for us to stay for a week as her own house was under the building work. We diden't have breakfast in the hotel or dinner as we were dinning with the family every day, so daily we left the hotel at 10 am and returned at 11 pm. On our arrival the first night we were greeted with couple of warm cookies which was welcoming. The room was clean , no shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, which we mentioned at the desk the day after, and the flannels were worn out, the shower cap was not changed, in affect the same one had to be used again. On arrival we had two small bottles of water which was welcoming but they were not been replaced every day, and we've been told that we needed to buy them at the bar. When my daughter called the hotel and asked them why they were not providing the water every day they said only when people chek in, water will be available, so she said my parents are staying for a week, do they need to check in and out every day in order to have access to the water and the person in charge said that was not possible and put the phon down on her. This was disgustin from a expensive hotel. We rathered pay £5 extra every night , but had water in our room as after late arrival in the evening to the hotel, the last thing we wanted to do going to the bar and buying water. Our experience was not good and we will never use this hotel again.
Pros: The leafy and secluded entrance at the back was lovely. I found the front desk staff very helpful. Cons: Dark and boxy room on the 1st floor, facing a wall. The bathroom doors are see-through and don't close. The shower floods the bathroom floor easily if you're not careful! The breakfast room was dark and dingy, with little vegan options offer. Level of english across staff, particularly at breakfast could be improved. Walkability: Walkable to Greenwich market and Cutty Sark. DLR nearby, but was not operational during our stay.
