I recently stayed at The Tower Hotel in London and was thoroughly impressed. The location is unbeatable, offering stunning views of Tower Bridge and the River Thames. The staff were welcoming and attentive, ensuring a comfortable stay. My room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed, providing a perfect retreat after exploring the city. The on-site dining options were excellent, with a variety of delicious dishes to choose from. Overall, The Tower Hotel exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting London.
The room was small but excited and very pleased with my stay. Excellent customer service. Very convenient hotel. Busy elevator I had to take the stairs a couple of times. Breakfast was good. Good price for the 4 days I stayed.Rooms: 5/5
In October, we had a four night stay in a two-bed room overlooking the bridge and the Thames River. Absolutely wonderful! We had a full breakfast included with our room and we enjoyed it very much. We ate a lunch and a dinner at the hotel and both were tasty. Good menu selections. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.Rooms: 5/5
It sounds like you had a mostly fantastic experience, with the highlight being the view of the bridge! That must have been a memorable sight, especially at night. It's great to hear the location worked well for you, making it easy to explore key spots around the city. I can understand your concern about cleanliness, though—those little details really matter when it comes to comfort. Hopefully, the hotel addresses those points, as they seem like minor issues in an otherwise lovely stay. Thanks for sharing your feedback, and I’m glad you’d consider staying again! We stayed from 28th October until 2nd November in a twin room. We were extremely impressed with the hotel - location, staff and service. The Tower Hill tube station was within easy walking distance as well as many famous landmarks/attractions nearby Tower Bridge, Sky Garden etc. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and on the ball. The twin-bed room was great - clean, great view, shower and room servicing every day. Very comfortable beds and breathable cotton sheets. The kettle was definitely useful! The only downside is the lifts. Only 4 lifts. We got on at the ground floor during busy times and ended up waiting 15 minutes in the lift just to get to floor 10 because for some reason other floors were priority and ours was missed multiple times. We would definitely stay here again.
I had a great experience staying at The Tower Hotel! I had a lovely room overlooking the St Katherine’s Docks which was gorgeous to wake up to. Breakfast was always delicious and there were lots of different options - cooked breakfast, pancakes, cereal, fruit, yoghurt and pastries. The staff were helpful and attentive. Worth booking in advance as the prices do vary massively.
Overall we enjoyed our stay here. We got a room with a view of the bridge at night, it was majestical and wonderful!!! The location is awesome, it is very walkable to the London tower, restaurants, and bus stops. I would definitely stay here again! I am giving 4 stars only because our room did not feel completely clean. There was hair in the shower and a strand on the bed.
Location wise ideal for a stay in London - direct connections to the Tube and bus lines and also very central when it comes to walking around the city. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The rooms however were underwhelming to say at least, after we saw the clean entrance area. Especially the bathroom was a shock, hairs and bunch of rust in the shower and you can still see the old mat that was used in there. The beds were comfortable and the view was amazing though!
Recently had the pleasure of a 3 night stay. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Superb location. Room was very comfortable and we received a complimentary upgrade to a bridge view room for our wedding Anniversary. They even included a bottle of champagne! Included breakfast had everything you could want. Linton and Francis at the Vicinity restaurant were so kind and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay
Writing this while I’m currently at the hotel, Plus and minus points…. Location is great, staff are friendly and it’s location is good. Breakfast was also good. Now the important bits… Rated as a four star hotel which it isn’t. Paid for a tower bridge room, unfortunately had to change dates, this was another substantial payment.. ended up in a standard double room, rust in the bath, Decor repair half done and only one bedside. Lifts, out of four lifts a only two we’re working this morning, and they operate totally missing out floors they pass even though they have been called. Four star, no maybe a three, Use again, absolutely not. Rooms: Mine was shabby, see my review
