Services and facilities are very bad, it is not worth at all. No hot water, broken hair dryer and random Amenities; Very bad client services. Imagine in the early morning you do not have hot water in the standing shower or in the bathtubs, and wash you hair in the hand washing sink Anger +30. You thought they provided the shampoo, but at that time you realized that it was shower gel only. Would you like to call them and wait in front of the hand washing sink with wet hair? Emmm, need to leave at 7.00, no time to wait, just wash it with water. Anger + 20 Finally finished washing your hair, then you turned on the hairdryer, and you found that it was already broken. Would you like to call and wait again? Or just borrow one from my friend? The latter is faster maybe. Anger +20 It was a very terrible morning, you rushed to the front desk and complain about everything. The guy said sorry, and said that you are the first one to complain about it. Well, should you care about the ranking? Should you feel happy that you are the first one? Of course you should, as others did not have a such awful experience as you had. They all left with happiness and smiles, only you, got every issues they had. Anyways, you do not have enough time to argue with it, and they promised they would follow up with you via email. In one week, they sent you a standardized apology email and saying that '...... however we would also like to convey that we would do all the necessary for your next visit and make that one a memorable one... ', which means that they would do nothing for this time, but if you spend your money on them again, they would consider to treat you better. Would you like to give them a second chance? It was me, so I will not. My anger reached out to 100 already. After back and forth communication, I am so tired for it. I did everything I could, being politely, nothing personal, but this hotel did not make me feel better during the stay in London. It was supposed to help me relax from my business and my life, given that I paid 250 pound per night. But in fact, they did the opposite. That is my story, just for sharing.
I was here on June 14-18, the reception asked for paying the deposit and said it will refund back in between 8-10 working days after checking out. I paid with my debt card and was waiting for two weeks to get my refund. Turned out they said I will need to provide some information about my card in order to get the refund which I wasn’t informed by the reception at all. I had to call to ask for the refund myself and I received an email explaining the issue and promised that the hotel will send the refund back as soon as possible. Now it’s been already a month, and I didn’t get any email nor the refund. Do not stay here, because the duty manager is not doing his/her duty, and the room was ok but definitely overpriced, you could get so many better hotel in London.
Please AVOID this hotel if you do not want to be SCAMMED. this hotel is very scammy, the staff can’t even explain the policies and have to keep asking the manager. The refundable deposit is £150 per night and they will find every excuse to not give it back. We got charged £250 for our dog accident which is understandable but still a lot to clean up after dog mess. On the pet policy it said they can clean accidents and to call straight away which we did. But the cleaners didn’t do anything about it. And why are they charging £150 per night that’s a lot no luxury hotel does this. Also there is a mini bar fee of £112 which you wont get back from the “damage” deposit. They don’t mention the mini bar cost and they said the £150 per night is only for damage. They say it’s fully refundable but take off lots of costs from it. They should’ve mentioned everything or had a policy on arrival. The manager was very rude aswell they don’t state anything on the website just keep adding charges because they don’t want to give money back. The hotel was very expensive anyway, we thought the mini bar was included as it was in the fridge. They should’ve mentioned the costs, £150 per night and everything else on their website. They can’t even explain their own policies so how are we meant to understand.
More like a 3 star hotel. The rooms look old and desperately need renovation. They seem to either not have enough staff or are poorly managed, because every small request takes a long time and lots of chasing to get done.Rooms: 1/5
Came here with my husband for our honey moon. BIG MISTAKE. Hotel is unclean. Hotel charges for mini bar £112 and serves alcohol in the mini bar without telling you I’m a recovering alcoholic and saw it in the mini bar immediately told them to get rid of it and they said they’ll get rid of it but I’ll still be charged 112 for a “ requested mini bar” I DID NOT REQUEST IT. Hotel food is disgusting and expensive and uncooked I’ve tried everything on the menue not one thing is good. Hotel takes deposit and doesn’t refund it avoids this place!!!!!
hotel takes £150 deposit per night after you've paid. I was charged £300 deposit on top of paying £500 for two nights all together they took away the £250 because dog had peed on the carpet. i understand that but now that i have come home from the hotel they have charged me £62 for what? i don't understand. so i guess that's how they scam seems like i won't be getting my £300 deposit refunded. hotel is nice but be careful because they do scam you.
Fantastic facilities, hotel and service! My fiance booked this hotel as a birthday treat. I was wished a personal happy birthday at reception, and and was treated to a delicious birthday treat in my room. The staff could not do anymore, and were very welcoming, accommodating and made me feel very special. The reception staff were exceptional! Thank you for making this a wonderful stay! The rooms were BIG, furnishings expensive, bathrooms clean, service people other than the reception, concierge and the restaurant manager, arrogant and non freindly. The hotel was quiet and dark in the night time near spooky, Breakfast was pre plated and tasted Bland, but if you are travelling for business to the Canary wharf, and have nothing other than business on your mind, then this address is the best that you can get. The hotel seriously needs to re consider its Chef, and request their staff to be atleast polite, if not hospitable. But honestly if you are a business traveller and can afford the rate, it cannot get better than this.
Had a lovely afternoon tea overlooking the garden. The staff were attentive, and Zofia was very helpful in making the reservation!
THEY SCAM!! do not go there unless you want £1000 taken out of your bank!! The hotel took £300 deposit kept it and they are now charging me £62 extra and said they’ll get police involved if I don’t pay so confused because no body in the reception seems to understand their policy accept the manager?? They are involved in fraud please report I’m reporting this to the police
