Stayed at the Marriott for 2 days/nights. Everything functioned smoothly from the get-go! I was welcomed nicely, the room was ready and in pristine condition, very clean, with everything working. Spacious and elegant too! Fine bed. Very effective & modern design too, charging points everywhere, clean ironing board and iron, I was in need for nothing! Great food during breakfast and also the conference that was taking place there.
Location excellent, good rail links and bang in the middle of the West India Docks, free museum and some great eateries Hotel was nice with good service although complaints were not dealt with and no feed back given Toilet was leaking over floor in room, reported but not dealt with, to also didn’t work with a very poor reception. Excellent business facilities with exceptional food and catering staff.
We stay at various Marriott properties at least 100 nights a year and the greeting we received was amongst the best we've had. The lady and gentlemen that checked us in went above and beyond for us. The rooms are spacious and clean and the location is great with many restaurants and shopping steps away and it's right off the Elizabeth line which is super convenient, especially going to Heathrow. We will certainly stay here again! Thank you so much!
My mother and I stayed in the Curve Suite, and the experience was exceptional. The service and facilities in the room were incredible, everything was spotlessly clean, and any issues or needs were addressed within minutes. The room itself was spacious with stunning views, and the mattresses were incredibly comfortable. The Executive Lounge was also outstanding, offering breathtaking views and a fantastic selection of snacks and drinks, which were constantly replenished by the attentive staff. If I had to mention one small improvement, it would be that the lounge could be a bit larger to accommodate everyone more comfortably, as there was occasionally a slight wait during peak hours to find a seat. However, this minor detail did not detract from the overall exceptional experience. I would especially highlight the service at the Buffet and the Front Desk; both were highly responsive, attentive, and hospitable. A special thanks to Fanny, the Assistant Front Office Manager, for making our celebration so special and enjoyable with her outstanding support and care.
This is our home away from home. Love this hotel. However my most recent stay was a bit subpar. You can see that someone is trying to cut costs. First off they no longer provide bottles of water on check in. Instead they give you a plastic refillable bottle in your room that you then must go find one of the floors where you can refill it. Who thought this was a good idea? Second the Executive lounge use to have a good selection of food with at least 3 hot options. Now they are down to just one. I was disappointed by this. However staff was still pretty good. on check in a gentleman who was checking me in asked me 21 questions because I had arrived before my husband, which my husband notified the hotel of. I don’t want to be grilled when I just want to get into my room. I’m tired. I am hoping he is just new which I assume he is because I’ve never seen him before. All in all I still enjoy this hotel but these changes have negatively impacted my experience. Walkability: Absolutely great location easy to get anywhere as you have the DLR, Jubilee line and the Elizabeth line. But also a decent shopping mall and bars minutes from the hotel.
A great base in Canary Wharf. Very nice staff. Comfortable room. I had business in the area but would consider staying here even if I didn’t as the hotel is less expensive than Marriott properties in other parts of London, and *very* close to an Elizabeth Line station making it less than 20 minutes away from Tottenham Court Road, and a relatively easy trip to Heathrow airport. There’s a lot of restaurants and shops nearby.
What a wonderful hotel , the service by the concierge upon walking in taking our bags, to Tom at check in so helpful , friendly and informative, to the room having a little something special for my husbands birthday. The location is brilliant close to some great restaurants and bars everything in walking distance. The hotel is very clean and the room had a lovely view no complaints at all everything was perfect! Thank you Marriott Canary Wharf will defo visit again soon.
We have stayed here twice, most recently in late August. This is an absolutely wonderful hotel with fantastic welcoming staff, an incredible buffet breakfast served in the main restaurant and a lovely club lounge. The hotel has a very convenient location near the Elizabeth, Jubilee and DLR lines. The Elizabeth line provides easy and rapid transport into central London and to Heathrow. Highly recommended. We will definitely return to this hotel.
Hidden Gem of London Location: The Marriott Canary Wharf is superbly located, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers. With close proximity to the DLR, Elizabeth, and Jubilee lines, you’re seamlessly connected to central London in under 30 minutes. For travelers arriving from Heathrow Airport, I highly recommend taking the Elizabeth Line directly to the hotel—much faster than a taxi, which can take over 90 minutes. The location also offers fantastic amenities for extended-stay travelers, including abundant shopping options, grocery stores, and complimentary laundry facilities. The breakfast spread and Executive Lounge access for eligible guests are also top-notch. Staff: The standout feature of this property is undoubtedly the impeccable professionalism of the staff. Aaron at the Concierge Desk, Sukanya at the Front Desk, and Nadeem Khan provided a warm welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Their dedication and attention to detail were unparalleled. A special shoutout to Mari, Kasia, and Evi for going the extra mile to make this trip memorable. In the Executive Lounge, Evi and Rahul’s exemplary customer service truly enhanced the experience. Additionally, Chef Ali deserves recognition for his masterful omelettes. I highly recommend trying his “Masala Omelette”—it’s a culinary delight! Even the Security Manager, Mr. S, demonstrated unmatched professionalism and care, ensuring that every guest felt secure and valued throughout their stay. Rooms: The rooms are spacious, modern, and well-furnished—a refreshing change compared to typical European hotels where room sizes can be quite compact. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the rooms were blissfully quiet, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Overall: I highly recommend the Marriott Canary Wharf Executive Apartments and Hotel to both business and leisure travelers. The combination of exceptional service, prime location, and excellent amenities makes this property an absolute gem and great value for money. It’s safe to say this will be my go-to hotel for all future trips to London! Adi Padha
Great stay. Nothing was too much trouble the staff who were extremely attentive. Sizeable modern rooms with a great view and great location adjacent Elizabeth Line and 10 mins walk to Jubilee underground station. Breakfast - massive choice, with long opening hours. Recommended Rooms: Spacious modern rooms with great views and big bed. Nearby activities: Within Canary Wharf area so lots to see around the area. DLR is next door. Jubilee Line is 10 mins walk away. Canary Wharf dock/jetty is 10 mins walk away. And 5 mins walk to the Canary Wharf shopping centre. Safety: No concerns at all. Plenty of signs for evacuation routes. Walkability: Close to many transport and leisure venues.
