I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The room was spotless, stylishly decorated, and offered a great view of the city. The location was perfect—close to public transport, top attractions, and great restaurants. Breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious, with plenty of variety. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and the genuine hospitality. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to London!
My stay was smooth and grounding.nThere was a small issue with the elevator, but surprisingly, the path was made clear regardless.nThe staff carried a quiet presence — something calm yet aware.nI was able to take care of some long-pending matters∴nOverall, a place where things align quietly, without noise or interruption.
Travelodge London City Road was my base during the SXSW in London in June 2025. It was exactly what I needed, my fifth floor room was the right size US queen sized bed and comfortable. Staff were helpful, Anna in particular was SUPER accommodating with my questions and request I had accidentally booked an accessible room, which I was able to change.nnIt's convenient, they have complimentary coffee pods, in-room coffee maker, tea, etc.nnAll in all, this exceeded my expectations for what's considered budget in London. Would stay again.
A hotel with a suitable location and price, if you are in London on business or a trip. The staff is extremely friendly. Even our whims for our birthday were taken care of. The restaurant is pleasant and with friendly service. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished. We were there only for two nights, but now we definitely know that on our next visit to London we will choose this hotel again. I highly recommend it!
Great location in the middle of the city. Two tube stations within a 5 mins walk. It's a standard Travelodge, small room but the bed was comfy and reasonably priced. Our room was very quiet. Staff very friendly. Great for a small trip into London.
