We arrived at Travelodge London late at night having missed our last train out of the city. I was with my daughter and we had nowhere to stay. The manager on duty said they had no rooms available but he would make an exception and get one cleaned for us. It was a lifesaver! I can't thank him enough. Incredible service and the stay was pleasant. Great buffet breakfast!
Spent the weekend in London, and stayed here. Hotel was lovely and clean and the staff were so helpful and accommodating. Every person on reception was helpful and polite. Will definitely use this hotel again, great value for money London. Thank you very much!
Perfect for sightseeing in London! Great location, plenty of bus services nearby and tube station if needed. Friendly helpful staff, nothing is any bother! Breakfast is great value for money. We were there during a very hot spell in August and a fan was in the bedroom, Air-conditioning would have been more beneficial. This is not a criticism just an observation. It's our second visit there abd we'd definitely book again
It's under refurbishment, the windows are blurred, to stop workers look in,nBut you can't look out neither!nWalls are painted to a dark colour.nI felt like we are in prison.nWe stayed for two nights, thankfully we had no experience with bedbugs.nIt's a good sign, because I'm the best bait for them from previous experiences.
BED BUG INFESTATION!! Nothing about this stay was desirable. I checked in for 5 nights with multiple other people on a work trip. After one night, I took a Loss on the price paid and switched to a different hotel. All of the people I worked with switched hotels too to different hotels than me. We all ended up with bed bug bites all over a couple days later. The only way this could have happened was if all the rooms we stayed in at the travel lodge had bed bugs. Based on previous reviews, there is clearly an infestation at this hotel. Aside from the worst issue or bed bugs everywhere, the building is covered in scaffolding which had workers using power tools all day right outside of my window. Literally anywhere else is better than this hotel.
