I would absolutely recommend this hotel for solo travelers. Certainly not ideal for couples. The room is pretty small and there is no way to get out of bed or turn on just a solo light without waking the other person up. Floor space is at a premium as well. Again, if I was on my own I probably would love the space and tech features. Also, absolutely amazing location! Not a fan of the completely automated everything instead of actual people. Made some things easier, some things way more difficult.
Located right next to Tower Hill tube station, a high quality hotel bar and reception with friendly and attentive staff.nnThe hotel was very quiet considering how central it is and very clean and tidy.nnThe rooms are modern and high tech with the tablet providing controlling everything in the room including the colour of the lighting in the bathroom.nnThe reason for 3/5 is we found the mattress really uncomfortable and too firm. We also didn’t like the fact the bed was wedged in against the window so that one person cannot get out of bed without climbing over the other and waking them up.nnSadly for that reason we wouldn’t stay again which is a real shame.
Stayed here recently with my wife, brilliant location at a decent price. Room was snug but well decorated, good room tech and clean. I only gave 4 for service because I did it all, checked in and checked out we had breakfast elsewhere so did not really interact with anyone at the hotel. But we didn’t need to so this is ok. Bed was enormous with a view of The Tower out the window, shame we were not staying longer really.
I didn't stay here but I went for a training course over 4days. The staff are super helpful and friendly and can't do too much for you. The catering is super tasty and varied and takes into account dietary requirements. We had cake twice a day which was tasty and fresh and a good range of refreshments all day. The location is really stunning and the decor was modern and tasteful. My only criticism is the lifts are SO SLOW.
Although we are Americans accustomed to larger rooms, these were very nicely appointed and efficient. The ipad controller for the lights was cool. We had an outlet that didn't work, and a slow sink drain, but all else was good.nnThe staff downstairs were attentive and helpful. The location is right on top of a tube station.
