The hotel is located in a good area within ease reach of the city centre and train station, even though there is no on site parking there's a car park right next to it with all day parking for £6.The room that we were in for a first aid course was really clean and airy. We were provided with a good supply of drinks and snacks. The hotel staff were friendly and professional and very approachable. When I was leaving course I was talking to hotel manager and did say if I was ever going to stay in Newcastle I would use the hotel and I would tell friends and family the same thing

My Husband and two sister and I visited there way back in 2013. We were visiting places our ancestors lived. The staff went out of their way to help us. I still have fond memories of some of the conversations we had. They were so kind and helpful. The bathroom was very tiny and parking wasn't the most convenient, but it was well worth being in short drive or walking distance of so many wonderful historical places we found pertaining to our family. Thank you.

Lovely hotel. Immaculate rooms. Great staff. Problems after booking meant we were overcharged but staff sorted it excellently and gave us complimentary drinks as an apology. Breakfast was lovely, full English and continental. Highly recommended

Lovely comfortable rooms within easy reach of the Railway station. Staff were friendly and helpful. Didn't need to check out until midday, which suited us perfectly.

Impossible to sleep next to that busy junction. My two colleagues were the same so as places to sleep go I can only give it 1 star...
