The Leonardo is centrally located and the staff during my stay were friendly and helpful.nnThe rooms are functional and spacious. I had no complaints about the beds, they seemed pretty comfortable to me.nnThe carpets had definitely seen better days. The bathroom could have been cleaner. It looked like there was a tea stain in the sink and the bathroom floor looked like it still needed a sweep.nnIf you're looking for a luxurious hotel, then I wouldn't recommend it. But if you're looking for a functional and centrally located hotel, then it's a good option.nnI would stay at the Leonardo again.
Smokers clearly stayed in the room before us, and that fact hit us the second we entered the room. Being on the seventh floor, i get why a smoker would not want to put in the steps, but that's not the hotel's fault. But not cleaning up the fag ash all over the skirting board and carpet is their fault. And not being allowed in our room a full hour after check-in due to housekeeping not being ready, is again, on the hotel It wasn't cleaned up....it was just moved elsewhere. And don't think I am all anti-smoking.... I am anti-leaving your soiled pyjama bottoms behind the corner chair, too. And anti-blood on bathroom handle. So call me picky if you want to. Of course, the hotel attempted to remedy the situation by offering us a downgrade and a twin room for myself and my wife. But our trip was not about the hotel room. So despite its location in respect of the Arena, I would rather sleep in the Times Square Car Park, which was full, by the way. The hotel's own recommended carpet!!! It should have been the warning we did not think to read.
Stayed for two nights. Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice bar. Good breakfast. Comfy beds. Hot water a bit hit and miss and water pressure low. Could do with a safe or safety box in the room. No plug in the sink! Hate soap dispensers attached to the wall.
Just spent the weekend here. Staff friendly and helpful. Bar food OK and a decent price. Found breakfast cold , waiting for bacon.nRoom was clean and pleasant, but had no hot water until 11.30 am. A trickle came out the bath tap. Never got any water for the shower hot or cold. Apparently most rooms on the upper floors had this problem.nComplained to reception ,was given the waiting for a part. Was told one pump was feeding the entire hotel instead of four.nIf you want a stay with no hot water this is the hotel for you.
Was a little disappointed by this place. Not the people’s fault. Had booked a superior king room and due to low water pressure the room wasn’t available, landing me in another room instead. It was pretty basic - which made me wonder what I was missing? The staff were nice and the location of the hotel is really great. There’s a lot of outside traffic into it and seems to be quite popular for certain things which makes sense. I wish I had been able to be in the room I booked though.
