We have just returned from a two night stay here with our cousins. The whole thing was a very good experience. The staff were all friendly and helpful especially those at breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Lovely new bathroom. The lounges were beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. It was interesting to read the history of the hotel. We will definitely return.
We had a smashing overnight stay here . Our room was very spacious and extremely clean and bright . Very very comfortable.nThe breakfast was scrumptious and plentiful.nAll staff were polite,warm and cheerful.nWe also love the decor in all the public spaces, very stylish. This hotel has a lovely vibe about it .nThoroughly recommend The Lansdowne Hotel
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Lansdowne hotel in July 2024! Our room on the third floor was very clean, nicely decorated and had an amazing seaview! The bathroom was modern and comfortable with an illuminated mirror and pretty toiletries. The room did get a little hot as the weather was warm during our stay but we solved the issue by opening the windows and using the supplied fan. We did not have breakfast/dinner at the hotel but we did use the charming lounges and enjoyed that too. We will definitely use this hotel again in the future. Highly recommended!
Booked an Afternoon Tea here for my birthday treat.nUnfortunately I was not at all impressed with the standard of food, turkey sandwich was tough meat, other sandwiches were also not very nice, the scones were stodgy and no jam supplied we were given Nutella or marmalade, the cake selection was quite sickly and unappealing, a total waste of money in my opinion.nHowever the place was warm and a comfortable lounge area and friendly staff.
Had a wonderful meal in the hotel as a non resident for the second year in a row. Visit Eastbourne for the scenery and to eat here. Many thanks and compliments to the chef and his staff. Best meal ever tasted, so flavoursome. Back again next year, might even stay this time. Can't but wonder what the breakfast tastes like. :-}
