Booked a taxi for 9.30am still waiting at 1pm as i haven't phoned to cancel it, no one shown up, terrible service. They also left my partner for an hour and a half in the rain waiting whilst he was very ill, had to cancel it in the end and get a lift. Drivers are never far away apparently…. Load of rubbish.
You call for booking a taxi in advance and that's confirmed. Come that time it's based on who's available and wants to come do that job if they're not on a job already. You can't actually pre-book taxi's with them. Defeats the purpose of pre-booking. Shocking interpretation of a taxi service.
DO NOT USE !!! THE WORST TAXI COMPANY EVER! I wish I could give no stars in this review,because my phone was stolen from one of their drivers in Widnes. We use the service last Thursday night and without an intention my husbnd dropped my phone in the car.A few minutes later when I released my phone was missing I rang to the taxi office asking them if the driver could return and give me my phone back.After 10 minutes they rang me back and told me that the driver checked the car and my phone is not there and they can't do anything to help me.I was sure that the phone is in the car and reported the crime to the Chesire police. After that I spent the last 24 hours stressing because, that phone had a lot of personal information on it.I kept asking the Britania Taxi office for help but they continued to lie to me that the phone is not with their taxi driver and they even refused to meet him with me.Terrible and Rude Service .... Thank you to the Chesire police and Samsung GPS Track System was able to get my phone back at 1 am Saturday morning after we've been waiting 3 hours with my husband in front the Police station for the PATHETIC taxi driver to come .THIS IS WHY I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DISGRACE TAXI COMPANY TO ANYBODY !!!
I attempted to use this company from a widnes address but they didn't have any cars in widnes. Didn't offer me a long wait time. Just said they can't do it. Very suspicious. I wonder where their revenue comes from if they don't provide taxis in an area where they have a branch.
Absolutely disgusting second night in the row waited over an hour then rang to speak to somebody who said we have no drivers In the area!!!!!!! Had sent a text 20 mins early to apologise for being late… had a disabled person sat outside in the rain for an hour … this firm needs closing down
Ridiculous company, booked a taxi for 10.30am as I needed to be somewhere by 11am. Taxi didn’t turn up so I called the office at 10.45am I was panicking I was gonna be late and despite me telling them I booked the taxi at 10.30am for a reason and I was going to be late they told me they are busy and will one to me as soon as not at the time I booked if they can’t get a taxi here for the booking time don’t take the booking so people have the chance to make alternative arrangements. Called back at 10.55am to cancel as I now won’t make my 11am appointment for a rude man to hang up on me. Pathetic dont bother using this taxi service.
Booked a cab for today at 12.30pm. Had an important appointment with my physio as had a knee operation last week. Didn't turn up. Thanks. £160 missed appointments cost the NHS. Will never use Brittania again. Useless.
What a joke of a taxi firm. After a 40 minute wait call to get an update to avoid missing a second train. They were waiting for a drop off in the area, and hadn’t dispatched a cab yet. Well, stick your cab company, I used Halton and had a car in 2 minutes. Pathetic Britannia!!
I ordered a taxi just after 6pm to pickup at 9.20pm because of getting out of work because there is no bus's. Waiting and waiting I also called to be told one will be with me soon. Rang back at 10.15pm to be told there was no cars out and haven't been in Widnes. So was so bad
