Location was spot on for us, our room was massive could have had 5 people sleep in that room easily. Hotel was clean and smelled nice. The bed not too bad and pillows are comfy. Shower cubicle is quite open and had a lot of water come out. Overall had a lovely time, only stayed overnight.
Came with my friends this afternoon very reasonably priced. Great service and lovely atmosphere. The relaxation room was so lovely. Treatment was excellent and a special thanks to Adele for looking after me with my allergies, she took the time to check every product before using it, made things really easy and put my mind at rest very quickly! Can’t recommend enough! Thanks again will definitely be returning ! X
We had a ladies spa weekend at this beautiful hotel. We stayed in one of the double rooms in the main building which was spacious and bed was very comfortable. The only issue with the room is there isn't a shower curtain so water splashes over the bathtub and soaks the floor. The spa and massage rooms are lush! The staff were very professional and I had an amazing hot stone massage followed by a facial which was soo soothing and relaxing. Olivia did my treatment and she was fantastic! I would recommend this hotel and spa.
We booked for New Year's Eve dinner, we were not overnight guests. We had a lovely time and everyone was so kind to us. The kids had a selection box and we enjoyed having crackers on the table. The food was delicious, beetroot platter for starter followed by an amazing duck dish and then a trio of chocolate. What's not to love!!! The 10 year old in our party ordered a cheeseburger from the kids menu and it was gorgeous, homemade and well-seasoned. We will go back and eat, beautiful surroundings and great atmosphere. Food & drinks: Delicious food and a good wine list.
Booked ourselves in for the New Year meal but didn't stay. The food was brilliant! Set menu and delicious courses. The kids menu was great and portion sizes were generous. Nice and chilled out and all of the staff were incredibly helpful, we will definitely be back.
Had a lovely experience today in the Spa, Nicola looked after us extremely well from start to finish and nothing too much trouble. I had experienced issues prior to booking that Nicola very kindly helped with and we will definitely return...can highly recommend the Hot Stone Massage ....thank you again Nicola.
Well what can I say, my wedding yesterday and the day couldn't have gone any better, the day was fantastic and one to remember, the staff were so helpful especially Natasha who made our day special with all the organising of the day and the food was lovely all the guests had a great time. Thank you so much for making our wedding day special
Booked a Luxury room and it was far from this. Could be described as standard at best. Very small room and did not match with my expectations compared to the website. I had to sidestep to get round the bed and the bathroom door did not fully open as it banged against the sink. Double check which room you book as I wished I had. Fobbed off with a pathetic 10% discount for my next stay which I will certainly not be using.
Considering this place is supposed to be four stars, it is very run down. After waiting a while to be seen to for checking in, there was no acknowledgement we had been waiting. When we got into the room we noticed dam patches on the ceiling, the wall paper was coming off with massive gaps between the wall paper. When moving the curtain, the whole rail went with it with chipped paint on the floor too. They did move us but we was very disappointed that they treat the building and customers like this. I wouldn't return.
Opulent surroundings, lovely staff and therapy facilities. No gym facilities despite signage indicating such. The Hotel itself was beautiful but let down by substandard produce for breakfast. Evening meals in the restaurant served with quality ingredients. Overall, ok but corners being cut in the wrong places.
