Great communication and it is very close to the Seven sisters cliff but sits on the highway so very noisy. The garden is very steep and not suitable for children to play. The rooms are clean but there are no nets on the windows so a lot of spiders and bugs come in... And you can't sleep with the windows closed because there is no a/c fan so the room is quite hot. The shower isn't comfortable especially for young children - you have to push on a button that is turned off automatically like taps ti wash your hands!, but it was clean and we had hot water all the time. The kitchen is fully equipped except for vegetable peeler and spacious but since everything is not inside cupboards, it was a bit dusty.. You hear everything and everyone inside the room, so if your neighbors are loud you won't be able to sleep and the emergency green light inside the rooms that you can't turn off can drive you crazy during the night. Not accessible- you have steps from the parking. We hired the whole place and overall it was..ok.. but I think it's highly overpriced and I will not stay here again. No value for money.
A very well managed and neat place away from the town on the way to the park. Easy to take a bus or a lift from this place. The kitchen is well equipped. Had a great time.
It's clean, safe and practical. Not as nice as other yhas and I was woken quite a lot by other guests in the corridor. But the room is functional and clean. The location is great for the south downs way but not so great for Eastbourne centre but given the price, that's fair.Rooms: 4/5
Really great stay with friends and staff are very nice and helpful. It has an area to park and clothes washing facilities. This hostel is a quick drive to the near-by town and a short drive away from the seven sisters. The lounge has ample seating, maps, info leaflets and a small collection of board games. I would definitely stay here again
Basic rooms with communal kitchen. Everything is clean and tidy. Great location for walking across the south downs. Approximately 1 hour walk from the coastRooms: 3/5
The venue has been hired it for a private event and is really well equipped. Clean and good standard. Nice walk up to the golf course with great views over Eastbourne. Lovely surroundings. East dean is a lovely area.
Quiet place 10 Min by bike from Eastbourne. The location is amazing, immersed in the woods literally on the road to Eastbourne. Separated dormitories for men and women. It is really clean for being a hostel. The only negative note is the wifi that is really slow, first it is very hard to connect and when you finally connect is very slow. For all the rest, I will recommend this hostel to anyone who is looking for a proper rest.
This is a modern youth hostel a fair walk up a hill from town. On entry there is a large communal room with a TV and drinks in which your food can be eaten and a decent sized kitchen with a lot of storage space, freezer, microwaves and fridges. There is a mixture of male, female and family rooms and washing facilities too. It is a clean and tidy hostel withfriendoy, knowledgeable staff and free parking next door to it.l.
Small hostel that is clean and quiet, but is lacking a good location. There are hostels deeper in Eastbourne, or back towards Brighton that might serve you better if you do not have a car. However, this hostel is directly on the local bus route.
Stayed for one night recently. Accommodation was well located on the outskirts of Eastbourne, staff were friendly and helpful, rooms and facilities were clean, and self-catering kitchen well stocked. Good value for money all round
