London Bridge is one of the busiest spots in the city, and honestly, it’s a bit of a maze if you don't use it all the time. It’s been a major transport hub since the late 1800s, though it’s had so many upgrades that it feels pretty modern now. It connects to the National Rail side and the main road, which is great, but just expect to be part of a massive crowd pretty much whenever you visit, and also the long walk for connections. The view around the station is great, you can see the skyline of Bank area.
Traveling from London Bridge to Gatwick Airport was an exceptionally smooth experience. Despite the high-volume passenger flow, the station is intuitively engineered and feels impressively spacious. Most importantly, the environment is clean, well-lit, and feels very safe for travelers.nn​Because it is a sprawling hub with multiple exits and levels, I recommend identifying your destination in advance and closely following the clear directional signage. The street-level concourse makes transitioning between the underground and national rail seamless. A highly efficient and modern gateway for anyone navigating London’s rail network!
London’s transport system is astounding. We stayed steps from here and it was a great central location to get all over town. Everything was clean, accessible, and safe — there were a few un housed people which was sad — and we liked the centrality of it all. Transportation was a breeze!
What a fabulous job they have done with what used to be a dire and messy station. Love the architecture and the efficiency of the layout. Only downside being that some of the platforms can be windy and very cold in winter. New clock fun and very clear. Have to admit that I prefer the new SNCF analogue one as classier.
Left my phone here by mistake. The staff found it and kept it safe for me, even changing it. Incredibly helpful and sound people working here. Thank you! As for the station itself, well equipped with toilets, shops and clear signage
