I do find the inside a bit dark and oppressive but there is a good seating area outside with the same arrivals/departures boards as inside. There are several different food options on the first floor and a decent variety of shops on the ground floor.
Large busy station with brutalist architecture compared to some of Londons other major stations. Still going through regeneration which has improved its facilities - plenty of signboards, restaurants and fast food outlets.
Euston is as busy as you would expect, but we'll run and organized. Plenty of Food & drink outlets which we took with us onto the train.nThe trains to the North have around 15minutes boarding time,we had allocated seatsnwhich we moved from as they were very tight with no window view!!nThe train itself was busier than normal as flooding due to bad weather meant most seats were taken.nAbove the seats there are signs informing you where the seat is reserved from, but passengers tended to sit anywhere as many were not on their allocated train journey.nLoved the 7 hour journey from Euston station a great way to appreciate the UK countryside whilst drinking coffee and eating snacksnThanks Avanti West Coast for a smooth relaxing journey
This is a busy train station, but it was a good experience overall. I wish that the concourse outside had a canopy over it when we are out there looking at the board.
