It’s an alright hotel, which isn’t very accommodating.nnThere’s a bar which makes decent cocktails. You cannot take these up to the room, best guess is to avoid guest-on-glass theft.nnYou can buy salads or wraps from the lobby at most hours, which is handy! Asking for metal silverware to take to your room will be met with a frown. While you may be crafty enough to steal a cheap fork from another hotel you’ve paid to stay at, Tribe will not be your sucker. No cutlery may go up to the room.nnTurns out that goes for bottles of tap water too. Buckets of ice are reluctantly agreed too, after you first refuse taking it up in a mug, and watching them cut the cling film off a brand new ice bucket. You’ve had some real audacity to reach this point.nnThe rooms are fine, some have a good view. The ceilings expose the utilities, which is a look I’ll leave with the beholder.nnOverall, at the current price point, I’d never return. It isn’t a horrible hotel, but the attitudes are garbage, and guests are a clear inconvenience to whatever economy has been built around Canary Wharf workers. If you polled those local co-workers that aren’t staying the night, I bet they’d give it a middling or better review.
Unbelievable! We arrived at 15 sharp so we can check in early. BUT the staff could not find our reservation DESPITE us giving them our booking number as well as our passports.nAnd after 30 minutes of waiting and having to sit on a couch since they could not find our booking and watching other people check in despite arriving later than as we get our room and it is a disgrace! The hotel advertises a good view and nice room but our room had the size of a shoebox! Also our view were other hotel rooms and a cement wall! And to top it all of the ceiling above our bed was not PAINTED!!!! The little hallways ceiling was painted BUT NOT ABOVE OUR BED!!!nUNBELIEVABLE!!!! RUINED MY TRIP!!!
A fantastic hotel in a great location. A short walk from Harbour Quay garden, with a lovely boardwalk by the water. Many good restaurants and bars within walking distance.nThe room was compact,, but comfortable and well-equipped. Good blackout curtains that had me sleeping in like never before! The surrounding streets were fairly traffic free at the weekend. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
We had a lovely stay at the Tribe in London. It is a very nice and modern hotel. Esta at the reception was super kind, we started our stay with her big, welcoming smile! She suggested a different room as we were staying quite a dew days. She was really thoughtful. Thank you, Esta!nThe hotel is located accross from a tube station- it s very easy to get around. I loved the neighborhood- even for a late night walk.nThere is an Amazon Fresh nearby for snacks and drinks, etc.nAll in all: a great stay!
Nice hotel!nnYes the rooms are small, but honestly it's fine for two people with backpacks for 3-4 days. I recommend booking a room with a view to the city.nThe hotel is extremely clean, and they have a great breakfast.nPs : the bed is definitely not a king-size bed. It's a 140 bed we have the same at home.nThe metro station is down the road you can be in the city center in 20-30min and it's also close to the Uberboat, you can join the city center by boat it's a nice thing to do in the summer.nLots of bars and restaurants nearby, and a huge shopping mall open until 10pm.nWe would definitely stay there if we come to London another time.nThank-you to all the staff.
