I stay here for work sometimes. It always smells strange, the room particularly toilets always haven't been properly cleaned. Towel had holes in them in them. However the beds have always been clean and air con works which is good but for the higher London price on a travelodge you would expect it to be spotless.
Not the best experience staying here but the bed is comfortable and they give you free teabags and coffee and milk to use there’s only a kettle in the room and the window won’t open the air conditioning only stays on for a few minutes and goes off the restaurant downstairs is very expensive and overpriced as are the room because they are different prices each day can’t understand why? Plus you have to pay for the wi fi which in my opinion is just not on, so it’s added money for me to payout definitely not good if you’re on a budget and it’s supposed to be a budget hotel would be nice if they had a toaster and a mini fridge for the hot weather but they just want you to pay for their meals
Me and my husband stayed at this Travelodge and we could not fault it. Rooms are perfectly clean, check in was quick and easy and staff members are absolutely welcoming and friendly especially Dina who was happy to give us extra help. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
We stayed at Lewisham Travelodge for 3 nights as we where visiting family. Upon arrival the receptionist Dino was really nice. The room was clean and had what we needed. The bar/cafe staff Sarah was the best, really kind, helpful always had a smile, we went to say goodbye to her when we checked out but she wasn't working, please give her our thanks tell her the guests from Liverpool. We had a bad morning the first morning we where woken up before 8:30am by workmen in the hotel which we really did not appreciate. We will stay again as location is perfect for what we need. Breakfast was not up to much and was cold, i paid for 3 days breakfast but only ate 2 days and decided to eat out on the last morning.
AVIOD AT ALL COST! Paid £300 for 3nights after staying 7days as I need to extend my stay for 3more nights. To my surprise the receptionist told me she couldn’t extend it on her end and I would have to go online to book another 3nights. Coincidentally within 5mins of me getting back to my room and loading up travel lodge on my laptop all the standard double rooms were sold out at 12pm and only the upgraded rooms were available. I had no choice to upgrade as had several work related items with me and would have been hassle moving locations. After paying extra i looked again online because I was suspicious and guess what… the normal standard rooms were back available again to book! I believe they purposely sold out the standard rooms temporarily as they knew I was booking one online! And to make things worse after confronting them about it they got the police to arrest me for “ breach of peace” and I was told I couldn’t come back and if I wanted a refund I would have to chase customer service! INSANE! They literally took £300 off me and got me arrested. I dunno wether to laugh or cry… I’ve yet to hear back from customer support. If they refuse I will be taking them to small claims court! Don’t book here! Bunch of tramppy scammers. #brokies.
