Usual Travelodge offering. Building is the original Durham railway station, so a bit more picturesque than a standard modern build.
Location is handy for the historic centre of Durham - ten minute walk downhill to the market place. Getting back up the hill might be a bit longer.
Access is immediate left as soon as you get off the roundabout, don't wait for satnav to say turn left.
Parking is in three sections, a little to the left near reception, more behind reception by turning right then left and more at the annexe to the right. Can be busy but can normally find space somewhere.

Well located and comfortable overnight stay. It's a fairly easy walk into the city centre and there are lots of restaurants and take away places in under ten minutes walk. Staff were very pleasant and the room was comfortable and quiet.

A very straightforward offering at a reasonable price. The bed was comfortable. The shower was hot with OK pressure. WiFi costs extra. The only breakfast available is a cold "breakfast box". There's plenty of parking but you may need to use an overflow car park a little way up the hill. It's less than 10 minutes walk to the city centre and it's easily accessed by car. I appreciated that the tea and coffee supplied in the room included decaf coffee.

Rooms are basic which is to be expected for a Travelodge but there was access to a TV and a kettle. Room was clean and tidy. The Travelodge itself if within a 10 minute walk of Durham City centre with a Sainsbury's Local and a few takeaways closer by. Overall not a bad place to stay of you're just looking to get your head down.

The location was ideal，just a 10 minute walk into town. The hotel has parking which is great，an additional cost avoided. The facilities were clean and modern and the situation，being in the old train station were interesting and quite quirky. Perfect as a budget stop over.
