Fantastic service from Jake, very patient and helpful especially after a long and difficult day. The hotel itself is clean and I have stayed here many times now, with further bookings scheduled. Would recommend for anyone looking to book in this area. It is affordable, quiet and with great service, especially Jake. Thank you again for your help
Easy to find, just off the M1 and before the retail park. The road does get extremely busy at peak times but the windows block all sound when closed.nThe room was huge and the bed was also spacious. Plenty pressure from the shower but there was a pretty strong smell from the drains that almost put us off staying.nI would definitely use them again as it was a clean place with nice staff and value for money. You had access to the pool and spa whilst staying too.
Stayed here for a long weekend with my wife. The rooms were very clean and of a good size. In fact the hole of the hotel was very clean . The menu had a fairly small selection but the food was fantastic and cooked to a very high standard. Probably one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten.nThe staff at this hotel were absolutely fantastic . Always happy polite and always considerat nothing was to much trouble for them. They just want you to enjoy your stay with them. The management of this hotel should be extremely proud of the staff here. As I would recommend this hotel to anyone on the service alone.nWell done all .
I canceled a booking with the Bannatyne Durham hotel and was assured I would receive a full refund. However, instead of refunding me, the hotel incorrectly charged me an additional £125.nnThis billing mistake has caused me unnecessary stress and left me out of pocket. Despite trying to resolve the issue, I’ve had no resolution so far.nnI find this level of carelessness and lack of professionalism unacceptable and would caution others against booking with this hotel.
Very comfortable place to stay. No food facilities on site but available in the spa building. Would have liked special deals on access to pool and gym.
