Easy to find, just off the M1 and before the retail park. The road does get extremely busy at peak times but the windows block all sound when closed.nThe room was huge and the bed was also spacious. Plenty pressure from the shower but there was a pretty strong smell from the drains that almost put us off staying.nI would definitely use them again as it was a clean place with nice staff and value for money. You had access to the pool and spa whilst staying too.
Quiet, reasonably priced, hotel approx 2 miles from Durham City Centre. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Free access to the health club and spa next door if rooms booked directly with the hotel which was an added bonus. There is also a cafe/bar in the health club which we used for breakfast, which was very nice. Rooms contained everything needed for an overnight stay. Would highly recommend.
Stayed here for a long weekend with my wife. The rooms were very clean and of a good size. In fact the hole of the hotel was very clean . The menu had a fairly small selection but the food was fantastic and cooked to a very high standard. Probably one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten.nThe staff at this hotel were absolutely fantastic . Always happy polite and always considerat nothing was to much trouble for them. They just want you to enjoy your stay with them. The management of this hotel should be extremely proud of the staff here. As I would recommend this hotel to anyone on the service alone.nWell done all .
The room is filthy, the sheets are disgusting. The desk has old food crusted onto it.nnHousekeeping desperately needs a bit of training and management should be checking each room properly
Very comfortable place to stay. No food facilities on site but available in the spa building. Would have liked special deals on access to pool and gym.
