Kaltur is fabulous. For a group of 3 we ordered 10 dishes which was probably about right for a big meal. Every dish was delicious and has us all wanting more! The dishes came as they were ready, which was great and made it really feel social. My favourite was the Calamari, and when we went there was a fabulous cod, butter bean and mussels soup which was incredible. There’s a nice selection of Spanish wine too. Not the cheapest place, but worth every penny! It’s quite small, which is part of the charm, but means it is worth booking.

Kaltur is a really good Spanish restaurant. The best one in Newcastle. Food has an excellent quality although portions are a bit small. You need to order at least two dishes per person which at the end is a little bit expensive. But as said before, quality is excellent and it is a place I would definitely recommend.

Authentic Spanish food in an intimate environment. Dishes burst with flavour and make you look forward to your next visit before you even leave.

Great little gem hidden off the main streets, good beers and foods with real authenticity. Shame that we noticed the hygiene of the staff and the kitchen environment was not great though!
