Well what can I say......we visited Newcastle for 2 x days over a weekend with 2 x types of food in mind each evening. We tried Kafeneon Friday and had a fabulous meal. Great food, fantastic service and wonderful prices. The next evening we returned to an Indian restaurant we had been to previously. It was so bad we walked out and although it was late walked straight back into Kafeneon. Not only did they welcome and prepare fresh food for us but they went out of their way to make sure our visit surpassed the previous evening. Great job by all staff we will be back time and time again. Moreover it is nice to see a venue that's treats it's guests not only as guests but friends........Absolutely amazing!

Simply delicious. If we go back to Newcastle we will definitely make a repeat visit. We had the vegetarian sharing platter, allowing us to sample a range of fantastic dishes we might otherwise never have tried, and at a very reasonable price. They also had an excellent array of cocktails on offer.

Love this place. Fantastic location and brilliantly priced. Set two and three course meals for a snip of prices other places. Other than the price the quality is sublime. Host lots of large group, hens and stags etc. The cocktail menu is extensive and perfect to start your evening.

This is a really good place to eat Greek food. I've been twice and everything I've tried is full of flavour. They have big dishes to share that have a little bit of each of their specialities for a good price. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great place to eat, good prices also, good atmosphere where you can have a chat and unwind at the end of the day. Will definitely be back.
