I have been going to this Indian restaurant for 10+ years and have never had a bad experience. There was a time, when I was a little younger, that a couple of us would turn up at 12.50am and we would still get the usual service and never rushed. The food has been great all of the time but, like with every Indian restaurant, some side dishes are slightly different, and maybe I prefer those of another restaurant for some dishes, not to say I ever disliked anything here mind. It can be "dead" at times and eating in such a huge room as a couple can feel a bit lonely, especially if you are all dressed up to eat out. It does get busy as well though and this can be before or after Newcastle are playing a home game. On one occasion, I have experienced the staff being a little bit grumpy but it was only that once and the food was still as good as always. It's unfortunate that they obviously have had a few bad nights where customers have not have the best meal and experience but I must have been there close to 50 or 60 times in my life...maybe more...and enjoyed it greatly.

Traditional Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant with great food and friendly staff. Recommended.

Steak was probably kebab and they couldnt organise the bill at all. Couldnt organise a piss up in a brewery

Lovely meal with work colleagues. Staff couldn't have been nicer! Fantastic service, lovely food. Would definitely go back.
