It's amazing what a fresh coat of paint can do!! Years ago this unattractive building was a Ford Dealership. It then became a base for Avis Rent a Car and I'm sure various other nonsense along the way. Now it's a hotel and an absolutely superb one, being very exclusive, very stylish and very different with a unique ambience, with excellent restaurants, bars and rooms, it's a great place to stay. I cannot fault it.
I did afternoon tea at The beaumont. Very nice welcome at entrance and in the main hall. The inside of the lobby, bar and lunch room excellent. Service was good and ambiance as well. Had a live piano which was nice. * Tea selection was okay, did expect more options * Scones very nice, give it a 10 * Sandwiches VERY dissapointing, give it a 4. Taste a bit flat, bread a bit dry and just not on par. * Chocolates and sweets, nice. Give it a 7,5. When I look at the price of 100 GBP per person, i felt that was a but too much. Tea should be unlimited for that price, was only 2 warm drinks. When you sit during high tea and face the lobby area/ entrance that is not a great view. It would be better if they would close to door and have a separation. Hall ways, marble flooring general decoration all very nicely decorated. Staff was professional and friendly. Compared to Sketch which falls around the same price point for afternoon tea I would return to Sketch and not Beaumont unfortunately.
Great location in Mayfair and close to the Oxford St Shops too. Lovely decor with a classic style and ambiance to match. I found the rooms and facilities to be good however was disappointed the hotel offered no draught beers especially on a warm summers day. The concierge Alan was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful securing reservations. Overall enjoyable experience- I will recommend and will be returning.

We stayed at the Beaumont during Christmas times and the stay was perfect by all means. I loved the arts and interior all over the Hotel. The Hotel is highly recommended for different reasons. One, the location is very unique. Second, the staff are super nice and friendly and what I liked the most is that the concierge go the extra mile to find us restaurants booking in a very high season. Specially Alan who is super helpful and very enthusiastic about his job. Third, the housekeeping takes care of details that is very rare to find, they even put a bookmark when they found a book near to my bed. Most importantly, the vibes of all the people who works there are a very positive and cheerful vibes that leaves you go back home with a big heart and a smile on your face.
Definitely one of the best afternoon teas I’ve had in London - and a true hidden gem of a hotel. The ambience is warm, luxurious and inviting. The service at the bar and for afternoon tea was impeccable. Afternoon tea: Food delighted from every piece. The finger sandwiches offered a unique take roasted brisket, salmon poke, the scones were so beautifully made they looked fake, and the pastries were delicate and beautiful but well-balanced. A true treat. I will certainly be back and recommend to friends! I cannot comment on the rooms as I did not stay I’m local but the rest of the hotel is lovely.
Our experience was completely ruined by the fact they wouldn't accept cash, for me I like to travel with cash and not card as I have had card fraud previously, it is a disgrace this hotel wouldn't accept legal tender and caused me a great deal of embarrassment this morning when coming to pay, i have been using this hotel since first coming 4 years ago all the time its literally my favourite hotel and we spend a lot of money their our bar/ food & cigars bill was £1040 just for the evening we have no issues with that but sadly we won't be returning to this hotel now due to it been cashless, we should avoid all companies that don't support cash is our sovereign right to use.
One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. As my first time traveling in Europe and the UK. it was a great experience. Tons of amenities and the location of the hotel was great to do plenty within walking distance. Major sights and attractions are within a 20-30 min walk as well Alan at the concierge is brilliant. Made us feel very welcomed and was a huge help for us When I’m back in London. I will be staying here again
I had a fantastic experience at the Beaumont hotel terrace with friends. The ambiance was beautifully decorated for Christmas, creating a cozy atmosphere. The terrace was the perfect spot for enjoying cigars. The staff was kind and attentive. Highly recommend for a delightful time!Service: 5/5
