Slept great, very quiet in the downstairs rooms, the shower was crazy powerful, felt like walking through a waterfall! Flooded the bathroom but worth it! Had a tasty lamb curry for dinner which was good, lots of lamb and flavor without too much gee, the rice was tasty as well. The cookies on arrival, are always a lovely treat! Didn't go in the bar or anything. The staff were helpful and friendly. The coffee machine was a challenge this morning, needs a gentle touch!
I had a very good experience. I had booked this hotel for our holiday and it was totally worth it. All the staffs were friendly and approachable. The food at the Indian restaurant was good. Overall very good experience and happy with my stay at Hilton MarbleArch. Noteworthy details: All staff members are friendly and helpful. Hospitality was good.
Quirky rooms - quite small even for central London. Breakfast ok - nothing special and it all seemed a bit tired. Good location but if you venture a few stops on the tube further out there are way better Hilton branded hotels to be had.Rooms: 3/5
Should have been better. Hotel is in a great spot, very clean and well presented, Just let me down a little with service, had to wait nearly an hour as the room wasn't ready. Upgraded from a king room to a queen suite sounded good but in reality it meant having a smaller bed and a spiral staircase to climb! Bar isn't fully working yet, no draft beers, and took 5 minutes to get a bar tender to serve us. Breakfast was okay but who does garlic mushrooms to go with your full English? Noteworthy details: Very close to the north east side of Hyde Park so great for events there such as BST Concerts. Marble Arch tube line only a couple of minutes walk away.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and while the room size was a bit smaller than I anticipated, it was impeccably clean and tidy, offering all the essentials for a comfortable stay. However, the true highlights of my experience were the outstanding location and the incredible staff. Riya, the receptionist, was a standout. She went above and beyond to ensure my parents' check-in process was smooth and was very accommodating in making my mother's birthday stay special. Equally impressive was Seyed, the doorman. He was always ready with a greeting and offered assistance with my bags and the doors. Seyed truly elevated the experience with his exceptional service. Overall, while the room may have been cozy, the hospitality provided by Riya and Seyed turned my parents' stay into something special. I highly recommend this hotel not just for its prime location, but for the warmth and attentiveness of its staff. I can't wait to return myself hopefully!
I’ll preface by saying the restaurant was excellent for dinner, and decent for breakfast, and the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. However, the room had a lot of issues that made my first night in London pretty miserable. Firstly, one of the light fixtures in the room had a broken sensor, and would not turn off at all. A staff member came in to try and tape a newspaper over it to cover it, but the light was still seeping out and made it quite hard to sleep. Then, in the middle of the night the AC abruptly shut off, I woke up very hot, and had to turn it on again and let the room cool down before being able to sleep. Lastly, despite the fact that I had never touched the alarm clock, it was somehow already set to 6am, and went off then, disturbing my sleep again. The staff were very helpful, and did the best they could, but a lot of these issues were things they had no ability to even remedy.
The staff here is really excellent. We have been guests on three occasions. On this visit we needed accessible service. Rooms are large, simple with great air conditioning.Everyone was so engaged and helpful to us. The location is a five minute walk to Selfridges, an excellent source for anything we needed. The Marlybone area is a wonderful source of restaurants and shopping. You can easily walk to Oxford Street.
As a loyal Hilton customer, I have stayed at numerous Hilton properties over the years and have generally had positive experiences. While I understand that room sizes can be smaller in central London, my recent stay at the DoubleTree Marble Arch was disappointing for other reasons. The service was not up to the usual Hilton standards. The staff were unwelcoming and inattentive, which was quite surprising and disappointing given my loyalty to the brand. Basic issues were not addressed promptly, and the overall atmosphere lacked the hospitality I have come to expect from Hilton properties. Additionally, the breakfast was sub par considering the price. The variety and quality of the food did not meet the expectations set by other Hilton hotels I’ve visited. I expected more from a Hilton property, and I hope that the management at DoubleTree Marble Arch can make improvements to enhance the guest experience. Feel free to adjust any part to better match your experience.
I enjoyed staying at this hotel. The location is great. The only issue which is I think it is popular in london is the small size of the room. Other than that everything was so superb. The staff treat was nice as well. Nearby activities: Many attractions are near by the hotel
It is like weird hotel. Since when the single room was meant a single bed!!! This is fact by this hotel shocked me. The bad thing it is not mentioned anywhere that when you book single room you will get single bed. The bed not only single. But it is very small and not comfortable at all. Other thing, many stairs you need to take to reach your room. When it comes to the room size, it is very small and may this is normal in that area. Only has one small lift. So you should wait your turn. i don’t know how it rated 4 stars!!!! Finally, with the same rates or less, you can get better options and more comfortable in London.
