Intimate and sophisticated, the fabulous 5 star Athenaeum is your home-from-home in central London.

The choice of accommodation is fabulous (all complete with free Wi-Fi and complimentary snacks and soft drinks from the mini-bar). The en-suite bedrooms are bright and beautiful, many with views over Green Park. The luxurious suites offer generous open plan layouts or separate sitting rooms. The 18 Residences offer flexible spacious accommodation with separate sitting rooms and dining areas.

Came here for the spa day and cream tea. Cream tea was very nice - fresh scones with clotted cream and jam and choice of hot drink. The spa and treatment was OK not great... booked an hour treatment which included 30min back and shoulder massage, 30min body scrub and also booked a 30min Indian head massage. The treatment was either too gentle or too rough, not very relaxing. Probably the most expensive spa day I've booked but no where near as good as any of the other ones I've been to. The changing rooms were extremely cramped! There was only 1 other person in there but even still, was very tight for 2 people. The hot tub, sauna and steam room was all nice but again quite a small space. Service was excellent as expected. Hotel is visually appealing and luxurious, centrally located however very difficult to find parking nearbyended up with a ticket unfortunately. Enjoyed the experience but wouldn't recommend and wouldn't return.
We had a delightful and memorable stay at your esteemed hotel last month. The suite we occupied was aesthetically pleasing and generously spacious, featuring a sizable bedroom, a dedicated dining area, and a comfortable sitting area. I especially appreciated the presence of a large mirror in the dining area, which added to the overall ambiance of the space. We hold your establishment in high regard and will undoubtedly choose to stay here again in the future. Furthermore, we will enthusiastically recommend your hotel to our acquaintances and associates. Rooms: The room was very spacious and quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable. There were mirrors everywhere. Safety: This area is considered to be very safe.
I like the hotel and rooms’ interior. The rooms are spacious and clean. The house keeping and the concierge service are super stars. Especially Daniel who was very helpful, welcoming and attentive. The process of booking was a bit tricky, prices are widely varied through different channels and sometimes at no sense. During my stay, I contacted 4 different members of the reception, non of them was welcoming or responsive to my requests except one for a minor request . They said the computer system is a bit slow, and they need time to check, unfortunately for 2 days they did not consider my request or even call with an answer. I believe that better training is needed for a 5-star hotel reception. I didn’t like the en-suite bathroom, very classic and old. The most disappointing was the spa, it has very small sauna and steam room. They open only after 9 AM, which is too late!! The location is fine, but there are no supermarkets or pharmacies close by.
We were kindly gifted the taster experience by friends as a wedding present. The whole experience was perfect. The service was incredible, the waiting staff were so lovely and helpful, and even gifted us an additional celebratory dessert. Each course was beautifully presented, and the food tasted exquisite. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion, and would love to return.
End to end amazing stay. Absolutely loved it here. Every single staff we crossed paths with went out of their way to be pleasant and courteous. They upgraded our room and gave us access to the rooftop with beautiful views of Hyde park + the complimentary snacks and beverages was so nice.Rooms: 5/5
Thank you to all the staff at The Athenaeum. I will never forget your friendly attitude, genuine kindness and dedication to serve your guests. Four Stars for ROOMS - I will leave room for improvement. BUT no doubt with their Service & Location. Like what my 12 y/o daughter said, "if I can give them 5 million stars, I will." We've stayed here twice this year June & July - it's E for Excellent!
I stay at the Athenaeum Hotel & Residence for my fiancés birthday celebration! The hotel and experience was a perfect and matched our expectations of high end boutique Hotel. The service and staff were outstanding, whether it be the reception staff, restaurant or spa! Every single person were amazing and delivered a special experience for me and my fiancé! Thank you Nearby activities: Great location to amenities such as the Ritz and central London shopping!
London is one of my favorite cities in the world and I typically look for a new boutique hotel to explore in the parts of the city that I frequent Belgravia, Knightsbridge and Mayfair. My family and I were visiting in early July for one night and wanted to pick a hotel that is fairly close to Harrods. The common area and hotel rooms are understated and elegant - there is some kitschy artwork throughout the property that breaks the monotony and adds to the hotel’s overall charm. We only got to spend a day as we were en route to Greece and Italy but enjoyed our short visit. While I like to explore new hotels every time I visit London, I would consider coming back here for a longer stay as it is centrally situated and the hotel itself is very relaxing.
One of the best hotels in London. The suite is perfect for three people. The location is excellent , away from the noise and crowds, but still close to famous places and streets.Rooms: 5/5
Stayed at the residence for 4 nights. They have very good varieties for breakfast. Every department of the hotel services was full with satisfaction. Amazing. Room was spacious and love their bathroom. Beds are so comfy. Their housekeeping is very outstanding, definitely more than 5 stars for this hotel. Location is perfect. Will definitely stay at this hotel again. Rooms: Huge TV and good lighting
