What can one say impressive location staff absolutely 100% cordial warm and helpful breakfast more than one can hope for and then some. We also had high tea with amazing help from our server. He went over each of the sandwiches cakes and teas. Lots are really good recommendations. Thank you so much one and all At the intercontinental staff. Cheers Walkability: The location of this hotel makes it easy to walk over and watch the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace.
Attended an industry event and everything was impeccable Food, Silver service, entertainment etc. Stayed in hotel for the night at great expense £450+ and then everything fell apart. Room was really outdated with shower curtain in bathroom Breakfast was like a Zoo the next morning with tables full of dirty dishes, no one cleaning them up, and a long que of people looking to seat. 15 minute wait for hot drinks, if you could get served. REALLY disappointed…. Absolutely unacceptable for Park Lane!!
Loved the women playing piano. The rooms are clean and the water pressure is amazing. Everyone is very friendly. The breakfast is fantastic. Very expensive but fun to be spoiled for a night. They have a mini fridge stocked with drinks etc.Rooms: 5/5
the service is fantastic. i adored every morning breakfast, and the gentleman, freddy, who served me each morning was kind and incredibly helpful. freddy noticed the details and anticipated my needs before i realized them. this service was top-notch and i loved arriving / departing the hotel as the staff was sure to greet and acknowledge you with their sweet accent each time. the breakfast at theo randall was lovely. the buffet was nice and it was great to have the option to order whatever you’d like from the kitchen as well. i booked my stay using the amex platinum, so breakfast each morning was comped regardless of extras i ordered. this was a really nice perk! i also enjoyed numerous glasses of champagne at the arch bar, which was excellent. i had an interior facing room, so i lacked the views, but the mahogany details in the room were nice. the room was very comfortable and clean. this was my first solo trip, so it was very nice knowing the lobby was staffed 24/7 for security and comfort. the only flaw at this hotel were the lifts. the entire trip at least one was out of service, so i hope they’re able to get them fixed to increase reliability moving forward.
The location of the hotel is convenient, but my recent stay was disappointing. This will likely be my last visit, and I won’t be recommending this hotel to others. Be cautious when booking a specific room category, as you may not receive what you paid for. I reserved a King Premium Mayfair Floor Room, but was instead given a Classic Mayfair Room. The staff seemed to assume I wouldn’t notice the difference, but having stayed here before, I knew the room was not the same. It was also much smaller than what was advertised on their website. Despite raising my concerns, the staff tried to convince me that the room I received was what I had booked. Only after some persistence did they offer a larger room, but it still wasn’t what I had originally reserved. I had just arrived, feeling tired and unwell, and this experience only added to my frustration. I will not be returning. ارجوا الحدر عند حجز غرفه معينه قد لا يعطونك نفس الغرفه و هم غير واضحين بتاتا، لا انصح
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-furnished, and the location was so convenient that we hardly needed any transportation. The highlight of our stay was the incredibly welcoming front desk attendant, Jorge. He provided exceptional service and truly deserves the highest praise. We stayed on the Mayfair floor, which was fantastic. This hotel has become my favorite in London, and I can't thank Jorge enough for making our stay so memorable. Highly recommended!
Around £500 for a room at the Intercontinental in London. Part of the hotel has been renovated, and the common areas are nice. The staff, in general, are very helpful. However, the rooms have been only partially renovated. There is no separate shower; you have to take a shower in the bathtub with curtains that are likely legendary. It’s also difficult to close the bathroom door; you have to enter first and then bend over to close it behind you . Apart from that, it’s still a great location with a friendly team.
Stayed here in June 2024 with my family, fantastic location overlooking the amazing Hydepark, breathtaking views from suite room, breakfast buffet is really good and the staff are doing a wonderful job. Club lounge has a savory after noon set that very delicious along with best quality tea. The lobby lounge Cafe has a fantastic menu selections with very friendly staff Can't wait to go back soon for the Hydepark Suite Rooms: Modern, spacious, sparkling clean at Mayfair floor Nearby activities: Hydepark for a pleasant walk Safety: Very safe area Food & drinks: Delicious foods at hotel restaurants. Many restaurants in the near by area
We visited London for the first time. Concierge, servers at breakfast buffet, and housekeepers were very helpful. Hotel staff helped celebrating family member's birthday -- an upgraded room, cake and card in the room. We had a wonderful time during our stay -- thanks to the staff at InterContinental London Park Lane!Rooms: 5/5
I recently had my first stay at the InterContinental London Park Lane, using an Ambassador complimentary night voucher. It exceeded my expectations in many ways. As someone who values detailed reviews, I aim to provide insights that fellow travelers might find helpful. IHG and Ambassador Status - From the moment I arrived, my IHG Ambassador status was recognized. I chose the welcome drink voucher over the 600 points, though I was a bit disappointed that the drinks voucher was restricted to the house wine. Upgrade from a Mayfair Classic to a Mayfair Premium room with a park view. Late checkout offered without needing to request it. Special Occasion Notes - The hotel noted my wife's birthday on the booking and went the extra mile by placing a cake and a personalized card in our room upon arrival. A thoughtful gesture that truly enhanced the experience. Room Experience - The Mayfair Premium room was excellent, a recently renovated look that was spotless throughout. The modern decor, mood lighting, and plenty of charging points made the space both functional and stylish. The bathroom, small, with shower was immaculate, with well-maintained fixtures and audio streaming from the TV. I appreciated the small turn-down service each evening—it’s those little touches that add to the luxury feel. Even with a park view room near the road, the sound insulation was top-notch, only the faintest noise from passing sirens. The windows could be opened slightly for some fresh air if you can call London air fresh. Service - Every staff member I encountered was friendly and professional, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. Their attentiveness stood out and contributed significantly to the overall experience. Breakfast at Theo Randall’s - Breakfast was served at Theo Randall's restaurant While the setting was pleasant it fell short of the 5-star expectations. Although the selection was good, some aspects could be improved. The juices weren't freshly squeezed, and the bread options were somewhat limited. Additionally, some of the cooked items, such as bacon and sausages, were pre-prepared rather than made to order. There were still some freshly cooked options available, like omelets and eggs upon request. Special recognition goes to one of the staff members, a bald French gentleman, who provided exceptional service with genuine warmth. He was truly a credit to the hotel. Location - The hotel’s location is unbeatable, nestled between Hyde Park and Green Park. It’s about a 20-minute walk to Oxford Street and Bond Street, and around 30 minutes to Covent Garden. Shepherd Market, just an 8-minute walk away, offers a charming selection of boutique restaurants and pubs if you prefer to stay local. Arc Bar and Dining - The Arc Bar, located near the main foyer, was a lovely spot for a drink. The bar food was excellent, with a newly updated menu as of mid-October 2024. The staff was diligent about asking guests if they had any allergies, which was reassuring. Club Lounge - I didn’t get a chance to use the Club Lounge, as the afternoon tea style offerings aren’t my preference. To and from the Hotel to Heathrow - Closest Tube is Green park. 5 mins walk. Uber to Heathrow averaged about £60 one-way. Other options are a quick cab to Bond Street Tube Davies St £8/15 depending on time of day and use the Elizabeth line - takes about 30 mins - you can tap on and off. Tapping is cheaper than buying a ticket approx £13.50 one way. Alternatively a cab to Paddington and the Heathrow Express. most expensive option if you are 2 more more people. Overall Verdict - While breakfast could use a few improvements to meet 5-star expectations fully, the positives far outweighed any minor shortcomings. Though there are other upscale hotels nearby offering what I'd imagine are similar high-end experiences I'd certainly stay here again. Rooms: Mayfair rooms are modern, renovated and very nice. Worth selecting if you can. See review for additional insights. Safety: Are felt safe. Your close to if not in an affluent area. Walkability: The hotel’s location is unbeatable, nestled between Hyde Park and Green Park. It’s about a 20-minute walk to Oxford Street and Bond Street, and around 30 minutes to Covent Garden. Shepherd Market, just an 8-minute walk away, offers a charming selection of boutique restaurants and pubs if you prefer to stay local. The staff was diligent about asking guests if they had any allergies, which was reassuring. Noteworthy details: Mayfair rooms if you prefer modern, new, plush.
