Honestly the people that work here are so lovely. The entitled lunatics they have to deal with on a regular basis and they’re still so chill. The security guys are kinda useless but it’s Tesco who cares. I realised at the checkout I’d lost my wallet on the train and the guy checking me out was so nice about me crying in his face, thank god for Apple Pay and that nice dude. He told me not to worry and to cancel my cards as soon as I got home
All in one superstore. Spacious parking available. Store was clean and staff are friendly.
The lady working by the cash machine was very aggressive and rude to me and should never be working in the front with customers.nI felt like I was back in school and picked on by the school bully!nEtiquette involves creating a positive and respectful interaction with customers and she failed on all accounts!!!
This seems to be the only Tesco that requires the workers at the self checkout to hoard the plastic bags and I’m not sure why. Incredibly time consuming, especially when you have to wait for them to help with other customers or fixing faulty tills. I remember one lady got pretty aggressive as she was overwhelmed by having to handle an issue at one of the tills whilst people were waiting to get bags from her. Totally unnecessary and just a pointless extra step. Leave the bags by the checkouts like every other Tesco does please!
The staff at this shop make everyone paying for their items feel stupid, by letting a gang of youths that were shoplifting get away with all the items in their bags. I'm not sure why Tesco pretend to have security - literally everyone in the shop, and by that I mean staff and customers, was aware what went on as soon as these kids came in. They weren't even trying to hide the fact they were shoplifting, and I bet they come back regularly. This is what we're paying for, and some staff in the shop thought it was funny. I tried to find out from the guy with the security vest what his job was, and why he let them all run away without doing anything. He either pretended not to understand English or he genuinely can't, although I doubt that.
