This Tesco is terrible; really bad. Compared to other nearby branches, the selection of food is poor - especially vegetables and fresh fruit. The staff are very non communicative, often rude. Don't shop here unless you have to, go to the next one on Barking Road by Upton Park it's brilliant!
There ATM outside had a card scanner installed. I immediately cancelled my card after withdrawing cash.
I've been coming here for years now, I find it a good place to shop. All these people are moaning about the cages getting in the way, how do you think they will stock the shelf? nnYou can also park down the road opposite when you turn right out of the shop, so no need to moan about parking. It's not rocket science ha ha.
Never returning back to that Tesco express barking green gate store ever again after the way the security guard spoke to me this morning which is very inappropriate and disrespectful and the way he made a childish , petty joke that’s very embarrassing for him to behave like that and what kind of security guard will take someone’s umbrella that’s not the way for them to behave like that especially when they are working in the store their job is to keep their eye on the store and making sure that there’s no theft going on and making sure is paying for their items not messing about and making stupid jokes seriously they really need fix up and do their bloody job properly
I used to frequent this store on a frequent basis but since they changed some of the staff it has been a horrible experience ever since .. the cashiers don’t care if they have people waiting and just remain doing what the being around the store .. at one point I arrived at the store at 11:30 and I was refused sigarettes as they said that they are closed when they still had half an hour before closing time .. the only reason they served me as I said that I’d report them for closing early. The store manager is very unprofessional .and was very very rude . I have proof of I get a reply informing me it’s untrue .. as I recorded the incident in my mobile phone.. if the owners want to see it please message me here. Disgusting !!!
