This is probably one of my favourite Waitrose because it’s massive! I don’t know if there’s any as big as this one, and it has a LARGE selection of booze!nnToday they were trialling some Beavertown beers, which was nice. Massive and well stocked normally - apparently not so much today but a great place to go for any of your needs at any time of the day.
It is pretty big and there are entrances from both sides it could be difficult to move around, because people are coming both ways, I found it difficult to find items. Fish counters are well stocked. Not sure of bakery offer, looks good but self service and actually not many things are there also there is Gail's bakery just outside as well. There is John Lewis upstairs, which less customers which is easy to shop, the floors have basic things but covers well from home things to electrical items so it is useful for emergency purchases. Impressive stock of Legos I should say. John Lewis is biggest stockists for Legos in UK so if you are looking for something it is worth going have a look.
Great customer service at Waitrose Canary Wharf.nI’d like to thank Charles for his help — I was looking for a specific coffee that wasn’t available on the shelf. He took the time to help, checked the stock, and after a while managed to find it in the warehouse.nnEnjoyable experience and excellent customer service. Much appreciated!
Not up to the standard of Premium grocery store. Super crowded as usual - long queue for checkout. The floor is always dirty. Also, it seems they can’t restock the shelf quick enough that it’s empty somewhere all the time and is messy. The lights are off for all the fridges not sure about the reason - def not quiet hour. Staff at cashier self check out was sometimes quite rude and commanding…even though I asked them politely about something seems aligned with some comments here. The only plus is the size of this store and location.
Weds 23rd April 2025:nnI have popped into this Waitrose twice now and it's spacious and stocked with amazing products. There is a wide variety of food & drink to choose from.The building is also a lovely design. Nice shopping experience, brightly lit and a vibrant atmosphere.nnThis is only a few minutes walk from the Canary Wharf Elizabeth Line station.
