Overall, the store seemed fine. There is a decent range of products considering the size of the store and parking facilities were good. But the road entrance to the car park was very poor in terms of the road service . The biggest point for me was the bakery where I saw members of staff bagging croissants, without any gloves or even tongs. Definitely put me off buying the fresh croissants.nStaff on the self checkout tills can range from being really nice and helpful, to being quite rude to people who may be a bit more older. I’m okay with self checkouts but not everyone is , and it would be nice to have staff who understand this.
Super happy they have plants in store. I love the 3 for £5 deal. I buy petunias and marigold plugs every year from here. It made my day and has really improved my summer balcony garden. I'm trying the madonna daisy this year. The clematis I bought 2 years ago from here is still hanging on. The Queen Victoria has been awesome. The plants in the foyer are definitely my favourite thing about this store. They have more plants inside too if you are there.nnI bought some lamb on sale here a few months ago. Overall I find the prices at asda decent. This store is a tad small, but it is OK for picking up a few things.nnThere is a car park if you drive. It's next to a curry's store.nnI come to this store for my click n collect. The service and wait time is good.
Hi I used a asda delivery service, and got a call from the asda driver, and he told me , it's store policy they don't deliver more then 1st floor by stairs, no lifts. As I suffer from COPD I had to collect £50 shopping from 1st floor, and really struggled I explained my condition to the young man but no he did not care, he could have just came up one more floor, as I'm on the second floor. I always give between 2 to 5 pound tip. Any called customers service 4 times , they keep messing up, they said the stores will call me back, it's been 3 days no one has. No more ASDA for me
Not a bad shop, I like the frsh pizzas and a great location to grab service items for the motor as halfords is next door. Unfortunately the staff refused to replace my broken carrier bag. Seemed to have the attitude that it would last forever and not very polite about it. What is ASDAS prediction of the bag life span?? Pethspd the higher management shold have a boatd meeting wit yhr topic of: - Are their carrier bags fit for purpose? Is it realy worth their reputation to be that pecious about the 20p's!!!?? The time before that I visited the store upon on my exit store security followed me out into the carpark. A few male members of staff joined him and they attempted to intimidate me with a tactic of pushing me around and poking me claiming I had stolen alcohol. This statement was absolutely madness I'd been no where near the alcohol section. And oviouly no items found upon my person that were not on my receipt .There was female Asda staf member getting rather fruity with someone on her tea break.I didn't mind myself but they should be carefully that no children or police are watching them!
Travelled from Birmingham, Small Store but I managed to find everything I needed. Self check out was nice and easy. Free car park for customers. Only one thing it was very busy that all baskets were taken.
