Excellent station! I used this station twice with the Elizabeth line to get to LGW airport with the thameslink train. The Elizabeth line station is astonishingly futuristic and modern and I’m impressed! The train station is just a regular station with frequent trains to the airport. Highly recommend getting on here as you avoid the crowds getting in at London Bridge and the others.
Pleasantly surprised by how gorgeous the Elizabeth Line section of the station is. The entire station is wide, spacious, and clean. It's also a nice cozy neighborhood around here, within walking distance to the jewelry street Hatton Garden.
One of the best stations I’ve ever been to! Amazing staff fast lifts clean platforms and very cosy
Located in core of central london.nnBe aware of pickpockets!!nnDifference entrance exit for Elizabeth lines and hammersmith and city line.nnIf you use central line then Chancery lane or holborn station would be the two options.
This has always been a very busy interchange between the Tube and Thameslink; the later being the only north-south through London service. When Crossrail the Elizabeth Line finally gets commissioned, this is where the two through London services will meet.nnUnsurprisingly, the entire area has been a massive building site for years but, amazing, the station has still kept open; albeit now with two entrances which confuses a lot of visitors.nnToo many of the staff are just grumpy - although I do understand that commuters can be horrible people. Also, if you’re looking to touch-out from the Tube to board a mainline ticketed service, it’s really hard to find a touch-out point without going upstairs and missing your train. When I’ve politely questioned this I was told that “very few people need this”, which I find hard to believe.nnA little more customer focus would raise my rating!
