Review update - order no. 201704 We had our Newport wardrobe package installed yesterday (19th April) and we are more than pleased with them!! There is a lot more room for storage than we thought and they are extremely well built!! The installation guys were very friendly and professional. We would definitely recommend Starplan to family and friends!! Excellent service today (Sun 4th March) from Paul. He showed us all different types/designs of bedroom furniture available and was very patient when we asked to see variations to what he'd already shown us. We built a great rapport with him and are looking forward to the installation of the furniture we chose!! Paul was a lovely guy and we would certainly recommend him to friends!!

Stumbled in starplan at middlebrook Bolton accidentally & for once best accident I've made spoke to a bloke called Alistair he booked me to have a plan made for 3 of my bedrooms had them done made a very good plan of them went ahead with it & the results were belting gaz & robbo the fitters were spot on very respectful of our home & very clean workers basically everyone at starplan who we dealt with Alistair, wayne the store manger & the fitters great set of blokes so a massive thank you to you all from a couple of very very happy customers 197135

The designer will make you a nice plan and explain and even show you a pretty picture of how it will look. Measure up and re-assure you it will look great and how amazing it will be. However when the fitters or handymen turn up to fit it then the it all goes downhill. I will give them credit were credit was due, they were clean and tidy doing the job. We had the room redone, re-plastered walls, painted and new laminate floor fitted ready for the fitted wardrobes with sliding doors where fitted and the cupboard/drawers that go around the headboard of the bed. Scraps of wood were used to pack the wardrobe up and left in plane sight sticking out. The new laminate flooring was damaged to which customer services were quite rude and said this is not our problem. The cupboard and drawers that were around the headboard of the bed were not fitted as we were told and left a gap at one side. When it was fitted the edge pieces were cut by Stevie Wonder and a blunt saw as there wasn't a straight edge to be seen and the paint chipped off the edge of the wood, to be fobbed off by saying we can fill it with decorators caulk. . . . . how stupid would that look. White decorators caulk on a pale mint green wall. We had a visit to come and look at the issues to be told that's how it is and I that they found it acceptable. We had planned to have the other 3 bedrooms done if this went well. But there is no way on this planet we would ever go back and buy anything else from here. We paid a considerable amount of money and expected a brilliant job where what we got was something that even the kids could have done better. I strongly advise you think long and hard spending your hard earned money with these guys. Especially if you are looking to spend a considerable amount of money!
