The room was super clean with a well-equipped kitchen including a lovely assortment of coffee and teas. The beds were very comfortable. They were convenient electronics charging stations on both sides of the beds. Good quality soaps delicately scented were provided. The Location is great and well served by public transit with lots of shops and restaurant near by. There was a problem with our room but the manager, Anthony, addressed it promptly and professionally. He made us feel so welcomed that we look forward to staying at Room2 Chiswick again.
Fab place to stay, stylish reception and offers cafe & bar areas with plenty of comfy seating areas to relax.nBasement room was clean and tidy with comfy bed, cushions and benched seating area.nGood sized bathroom, shower with decent shower products. Well stocked kitchenette, had slight issue with the tv which was sorted in no time.nOnly issue was corridor lighting to the room was very dim.nOn the whole, hotel is quiet and a great central Chiswick location as its set off the busy high road, however car parking is mostly on-street so can be costly as in residential area.
I stayed from 2024.06.09 to 2024.06.28 Lounge Twin Bed room  room number 222 at cost of HKD49,200 GBP£4,920. That is, the average cost was around HKD2,600.  I booked and fully PAID for the room in Oct 2023.nn1.  The so-called sustainable policy is really so much annoying that air conditioning would be automatically turned off 1am.  If you want to be skipped for this stupid policy.  You have to raise your request and they will arrange manually override every single night.nnI requested NOT to turn off my room aircon at 1am as I need good sleep with optimal temperature and humidity after each exhausted day of traveling.nnIf I feel hot or cold, I will adjust the air conditioning to my suitable temperature to fit my own needs.  Everyday weather is NOT the same and everyone's feeling and body temperature is NOT the same !!!!!nnIT WAS soooo much annoying that they set such stupid policy, NOT do their work seriously but always forget to skip my room from turning OFF my air conditioning 1am during 19 nights' stay.nnAs a result, I always been woken up due to sweating midnight 2am, 3am or 4am, 5am, so I could NOT have a GOOD sleep in this hotel at all.nnIf you are lucky that the night shift staff can remember to override the air con shut down 1am..the air conditioning will be set to 19C automatically that still I will be woke up due to too cold !!nnEveryone has different sleeping time and duration.  I wonder how the hotel determine to turn off all rooms air conditioning at 1am !!!!  No reason is provided for why they set at 1am, why not 2am ? 3am? 4am ? 5am ???!!!nn2. Electricity , USB charging and TV signal were unable.  Sometimes will be automatically OFF.nn3. Both shower drainage and sink drainage  were blocked and need to request to fix after I checked in the room.nn4. In thw washroom, both towel hangers at wall and under sink were broken that need to request to fix after I checked in the room.  One of the towel hanger under the sink finally I fixed myself by nail cuter to tighten the screw as I am tired to report and report again.nn5. Cafe Breakfast is super over-priced and NOT justified for £15 with 2 drinks, 2 eggs,  1 pastry and some toasts.  Taste was so so.  I only tried one time and never eat again at the Cafe for the rest of 18 days.nn6. Housekeeping service level is NOT up to standard as compared to the price.  Forget refill tissue, forget refill tea bags or coffee bags even I put empty cans at eye catching position, forget clear rubbish bin, etc.nn7. Fry spatula provided in room was a broken one.  It takes 2 days to message the staff and wait for response before it can finally be replaced.nn8. There is no phone in room. You have to contact Staff by whatsapp or go down to ground floor to ask for help.  Response by whatsapp is super sloooow.. Need at least a day to response to you.  It is soooo much difficult to get a staff to response to you for any issue.nn9. Full cleaning is only arranged every 7 days.  Otherwise only change towels and clear rubbish bins everyday. 1st 7 days full cleaning have vacuum clean the floor but the floor on the 2nd 7 days full cleaning day was left uncleaned.nn10.  Alarm drill happened on 27 Jun around noon time WITHOUT any prior notification scared all room guests !!!!
A great hotel with fantastic communal bar/restaurant. Staff went out of their way to be accomodating and kind. The room was spacious and very clean. We felt that the way in which the hotel was managed from a sustainability aspect was very forward thinking.
This hotel is spectacular. From the moment you arrive the incredible staff make you feel so welcome. The rooms are spacious and fantastically decorated and there is just so much attention to detail everywhere. Would absolutely stay here again and hope to!
