Surprisingly reasonably priced for the location. We were upgraded to a king sized suite, which was spacious and comfortable.nReception staff were very pleasant as was the young lady dealing with breakfast.nWould happily start here again.
Love this little hotel. The beds are comfy and the place is warm. Breakfast is very very good, though ask for top up if anything runs out, they will oblige.nOnly a 4 for the room this stay previous have been 5* due to drain smell from shower. easily remedied with the shower matt over the hole, smell gone. Obviously been plumbed in without a trap, to the main sewer..........oh dear.
Room clean and well equipped. Bed not particularly comfortable and, unnervingly, moves around a fair bit as it on wheels! Staff are ok and reasonably responsive. The breakfast offer is from another age industrial bread, canned fruit and I would suggest avoiding it. Biggest issue I had was the window of my g floor room being left wide open by the cleaner. Not ideal.
I think this was a great hotel for the price. Staff was super helpful with my requests, the room was very functional & clean, and a good size albeit a strange layout.nIt's about 10 minutes from the district line, so it's roughly 35-40 minutes from the city centre.
They have said they upgraded my room but i was given a suite room in -1 floor where there is no air and light. Breakfast was enough. Location is good and close to the train station.
