A nice spot for starting a tour on the Uber boat for a round trip on the Thames. It may be about 3 hours Total. You can see Big Ben from another perspective. Worth a trip. Avoid doing it midday if it is sunny. My advice do it when you can see it during the day on one way and it is dark on the way back.
This is a shallow part of the river. There was someone on the bank searching for artifacts with a metal detector.nOverall, it's a peaceful place with beautiful nature and scenery.
It was a fine Monday when I first crossed this bridge. I turned up, ready to cross the bridge. My destination: Putney Pier… I arrived at Putney Bridge station on the District line. I then spent around 30 minutes waiting for my friend to go to the right exit for reason because he got lost. I honestly had no clue what had happened. Anyway I went across the bridge and it was cool :
This bridge has salvaged many a botched trip. Hammersmith bridge does not take cars yet this masterfully crafted feat of engineering does. It is not necessarily the most beautiful bridge but it fulfills its purpose nicely. My only gripe is that one cannot cross the road on the bridge due to heavy traffic. This is partly the fault of the availability issue of Hammersmith bridge. I have attached a photo not necessarily mine to give an idea of how this bridge looks.
Touring site places makes you to know what's out there. It has been a good experience for me. I enjoy site seeing.
