Booked for swimming through the app. Take your young daughter swimming. everyone is happy. Get changed, go to swimming pool. Nice and buzzing. Manager comes and tell you no swimming allowed for children. Not allowed in the pool. Not quite sure why you make people book and pay and then not let them in the pool. Seems like a weird way to run a business.
Go here to attend seminars at east 6 times a year.nThe bookings are made well in advance but on the day we almost always find issues and the room double booked leading to disruption and sometimes late starting, resulting in our precious time being reduced.nVery frustrating and poor on the admin side.nFloor is almost always unclean with debris or slippy/ greasy which can be an issue.nOverall we have no choice at present but worth checking other venues as to what they can offer as being such a large centre you would expect better but opposite appears to be the case. The booking system and staff in the centre clearly do not work together so repeat the same booking issues in our case constantly and don't learn
I’m very disappointed with Better Kensington Leisure. What was once a welcoming and well-organised centre has noticeably declined.nnThe management is a major concern. I’ve personally witnessed managers speaking down to staff, which creates a negative atmosphere and affects the overall experience for members. It’s clear that egos often take priority over professionalism and supporting the team.nnThe loss of Jeff has made a huge difference. He personally gave me my induction and literally held every role in the centre. Jeff was approachable, knowledgeable and genuinely cared about both the staff and members. Since he left, the quality of the centre has suffered significantly.nnClasses are frequently cancelled, making it hard to rely on the schedule. As a paying member, consistency is essential, and unfortunately, this is no longer the case.nnFor these reasons, I’ve decided to cancel my membership. It’s disappointing, as the centre once had so much potential, but without better leadership and a reliable class program, it’s simply not the same experience.
Nice for an introductory spa experience, not too busy but it’s overall very dark. I didn’t feel like it was worth it for the pricing.
Swimming pool changing rooms are absolutely disgusting Ergh omg minging every single time. Hair everywhere, food, old chewing gum the lot and the cleaners just walk around doing nothing. The soft play area is decent but the worker or guard whatever you want to call him is rude to the kids! It’s beyond me several times I’ve had to speak up for peoples kid cause some parents are clearly to scared to say anything cause when they do the man starts shouting at them like he thinks he’s at home maybe talking to his wife! too rude.
